--We are authorized to state (says the Savannah Republican) that two gentlemen of this city will pay annually, in semi annual payments, to the Government of the Southern Confederacy, two hundred dollars, for five years, or so long as the war may last, if one hundred men in the State will join with them in the arrangements. These two gentlemen, who are brothers, are exempt from military duty, but with their sympathies all enlisted in so holy a cause, are still willing to contribute of their means for its success.
