The loss of the Donna Isabel.

--By the latest news from Brazil, we learn that the Emperor, as well as his subjects, was profoundly moved on being informed of the loss of the corvette Donna Isabel, and had ordered a solemn funeral service to be celebrated, at which he, the Empress, and all the Court assisted. Moreover, he gave each of the survivors a month and a half's pay out of his private purse. One of these he particularly noticed, a boats wain named Antonio Joaquin, who, at the last moment, rushed into the captain's cabin, and at the imminent risk of his life, got all his money and papers, which he carried to Rio and faithfully delivered to the captain's family. The Emperor gave this brave and honest fellow $300 and a gold watch, with the names of himself, the Empress and the faithful sailor engraved on the case.
