the tomb of Pallas, the celebrated freedman of Claudius, erected by the senate on the via Tiburtina intra primum lapidem (Plin. Ep. vii. 29; viii. 6. i; cf. inscription on the tomb of M. Antonius Asclepiades Pallantis libertus, found at the porta Tiburtina (CIL vi. 11965)).
