CELLA NIGRINIANA

a warehouse of some kind, known only from one inscription (CIL vi. 31065) that was found on the site of the Palazzo Antonelli, on the west slope of the Quirinal. Several other similar warehouses of the early empire stood here and were destroyed by the building of the thermae Constantinianae (HJ 419).
