On Friday, while Senator Douglas was advocating his resolutions offered the day before, he was r, the Republican leader in the Senate.
Mr. Douglas complained that the Senator had answered hitor was mistaken if he alluded to him.
Mr. Douglas.--I did not mention the Senator from Maine.n.--You said "the Senator from Maine."
