We extract the following from the bee correspondence (Feb. 7.) of the New York Herald:

--Peter Disney was convicted before this Court on Saturday of petit larceny, in stealing a pistol, the property of James Cooper, at the Medical Purveyor's office, and sentenced to sixty days imprisonment in jail.
He was charged with grand larceny, but the jury valued the property under $20, thus reducing the grade of his offence.
John Dawson was also tried before the above Court on Saturday for stealing a watch from a negro at the American Hotel.
