Praiseworthy. --The workmen at Messrs. John & George Gibson's establishment (among whom are several colored men) contributed last week $214 to the fund now being raised to aid the soldiers.--To this sum was added by the Messrs. Gibson $100, all of which was handed to the collecting committee.
