Johnson, has been reduced to the necessity of keeping an armed guard at his door all the time, as a protection to his person. He had issued orders to allow no citizen to appear on the streets after nine o'clock, P. M., and on the night of the 15th instant the public square was filled with parties under arrest, who had violated the despotic order.
