Merci Boxcar Ceremony

Speeches are given at the Virginia and Truckee depot on Washington Street for the arrival of the Merci Boxcar. This boxcar was a thank you gift from the people of France to every state in the Union after the end of World War II. On the stage is Governor Vail Pittman.
