This piece is one of my favorites from the Modern & Contemporary Art collection at the High Museum of Art. Photographed from a curious angle, this is actually a bench. 

The curator of this collection is to be commended. The pieces are exquisitely designed, colorful, eclectic, and yet totally speak to the modern and contemporary aesthetic.

Also at the High, the Salvador Dali exhibit is in its final weeks. You can still see it, but only through Sunday, January 9, 2011. This exhibit is worth seeing for the "Santiago el Grande" alone. The Santiago el Grande is one of Dali's larger paintings and this is the first time it's been on exhibit in the United States since its debut in 1957.
