Spied: Raglan Sleeved Knit Dress

I was perusing Forever 21 this morning and stumbled on this dress. I think it is such a great find, I decided to break my radio silence to share it.

Raglan-Sleeved Knit Dress - $23

Forever 21 is also having a buy one, get one free sale on clearance. I just couldn't help but snag this sweater and this blazer. (I came really close to pulling the trigger on this quilted sweatshirt and this peplum top too!)

Spied: Plaid Pixie Pants

We are having family pictures taken today. I've been scrambling all weekend to figure out what we are all wearing and I stumbled on these pants online last night. If only I had my act together last week - I would have snatched them up! I just love plaid when the weather gets cooler.

Pixie Plaid Ankle Pants | $34 | Old Navy

Tis the season for all things tartan. Here are a few more favorite plaid finds (under $40!):

Spied: Quilted Edge to Edge Jacket

Cropped jackets are on of my favorite things right now. I love the proportion of the three-quarter sleeve and shorter length and the texture of this jacket is amazing.

Here are a few other great quilted jackets

Spied: Ponte Elbow Sleeve Dress with Pockets

I stumbled on this dress (on sale) and just had to share. It's an absolute perfect fall layering piece.Throw on some black tights and booties and you are good to go.

I think my favorite thing about the dress is that it has pockets. Speaking of women's fashion and pockets, I read this piece and thought it was really fascinating.

If you are desperate for a good dress with pockets, here are a few other options (under $25!):

Spied: Stripe Panel Skirt

Several months ago, when I had just had a baby but I still looked pregnant, I got rid of a lot of my skirts thinking that I would never fit into them again. (At the time I could only fit into my husband's t-shirts and maternity yoga pants, so my clothing prospects looked pretty bleak.)

Fast forward to today, and I have almost nothing to wear to church. Every week I look in my closet and hope some new, appropriate, nursing-friendly outfit has found its way inside, but I end up cycling through the same one skirt and one maxi dress I own Sunday after Sunday. It's safe to say that it wouldn't hurt for me to have a few more skirts in my wardrobe.

I found this one (on sale!) and absolutely love it. The pattern is flattering and interesting, the colors are incredibly versatile, and overall it feels fresh.

Here are a few more skirts I wouldn't mind owning, all under $50:
midi vintage skirt || woven midi skirt in crepe || full skirt in indigo

Is it something you would wear? I almost never wear skirts or dresses during the week, so I have a hard time spending money on them, but tell me this - how many church outfits do you own? How many would you like to own? For me, two is most definitely not enough.

Spied: ASOS Duffle Coat

Even though the weather here is far from cool (summer in North Carolina often lasts well into October), I have my eye on this adorable toggle coat. I can't get over the color, which is just gorgeous. And it's on sale for less than $50!

And just for the record, here's what I'd love to wear with it:

Maybe it's because I'm spending this week at the beach that I have swimwear on my mind, but I was browsing through the J. Crew Factory website and saw that a lot of their modest one-pieces and rash guards are on sale right now. Some are even under $30! This anchor print is my favorite:

Have you gotten anything good at Target lately? Who am I kidding - of course you have. Leave it in the comments.

Spied: Asos Blush Ponte Blazer

I don't know when it happened, but one day I realized I would much rather wear a ponte blazer than a cardigan. I love them because they hang like a woven with the give of knit. It's kind of magical. I was looking for a light option for spring and I bought this blazer a few weeks ago. I have worn it almost every day since it arrived.

Here are a few other great ponte blazers (all under $40):

Ponte Collarless Jacket (love it in green)

Have you forsaken the cardigan for the ponte blazer or am I crazy?

Spied: Anthropologie Winona Blazer

There are few things in this world that make me abandon my shopping mission like a striped blazer. I don't own one but every single time I see one I stop and pet it for a few minutes before moving on. That probably says something deep and meaningful about me, or maybe it just says it's time for me to just buy one already.

I was perusing the Anthropologie sale section and was pleasantly surprised to find this little lady, steeply discounted.

Winona Blazer - Anthropologie - $30 (Orig. $168)

Anthropologie has some seriously good finds in their sale section right now.

Spied: Whimsical Garden Maxi Dress {+ 5 More Maxis with Sleeves}

Finding maxis with sleeves is really tough. I once asked a retail employee if they had any maxi dresses with sleeves in stock. He looked at me for a minute and said, "they make those?" Yes, sir. Sometimes they do.

Giveaway: Lalabu Soothe Shirt

When I was pregnant with Simone, I discovered (through a sweet reader) the Lalabu Soothe Shirt. I was head over heels with the idea and couldn't wait to get my hands on one.

The Soothe Shirt has no ties or straps - simply wear it all day like a shirt so it’s always there when you need it. The secure pouch calms newborns and the built-in nursing bra makes breastfeeding easy. It's pretty ingenious. Simone and I used this thing for the first 8 weeks - and I actually cried when she was too big for it (which happened sooner than I hoped because she's a big baby).

If you are thinking about having a baby, pregnant, have a newborn, or think you'll have another baby someday, you are going to want one - I promise.

Lucky you, Lalabu is offering a soothe shirt to one lucky winner (open to US residents only).

Here are the rules:

• Visit Lalabu & tell me what color you like best and leave a comment (with a valid email address).
• Bonus entry through Instagram. Find the details here.

The Giveaway ends on Friday, March 7, at 10 PM (Central Time).
