My current certificate was up for renewal, and the price seemed extremely high for a DV wildcard certificate. I asked ChatGPT for a list of highly rated companies that offered certificates. SSLs was one of the companies listed. I was a little concerned since I never heard of them. After some research, I found they were a sister company to Namecheap, which I use for all my domain names. I was also worried as their price was 81% less than I was currently paying for the same certificate from the same company. At that price, I decided to give it a try. I was amazed at how simplified the process was. I didn't even need to generate my own CSR. I only needed to make a CNAME entry in DNS for domain verification, and my certificate was issued. There were also easy instructions on converting the new certificate to a PFX format for Windows. Within 30 minutes I was done, start to finish. I'm very happy with the whole process!

We provide our certificates in PEM and P7B formats, which are the most commonly used. We cannot provide them in PFX format, as this format requires a private key that is only held by the certificate owner. However, you can always convert the files using: https://decoder.link/converter

Got a prompt service from using NameCheap Chat option. SSL certificate status was showing Pending status. I was not sure what went wrong. I contacted NameCheap using Chat option. The issue was fixed within 5-10 minutes.
