I never heard of counting up before I…

I never heard of counting up before I started my business and when I was looking to open an account for my business, counting up was there to support me all the way. It has been a wow experience with the way the app is setup and the reminders as well. I have recommended counting up to few friends who are into the same line of business as mine. 5 star rating

Great business account BUT needs to offer multiple cards

Would get 5 star if we as a business could have more than one card. This needs address asap as many customers are complaining. This facility has been asked for over 2 years and no change.

Sadly counting up have replied to the above message with the same reply they gave over a year ago, which is disappointing and also tells me that after many users asking for multiple cards, we are no further ahead.

Clowns

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE CRIMINALS. CURRENTLY FROZEN 18K OF MY MONEY FROM CUSTOMER DEPOSITS. THEY HAVE ASKED FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WHICH I HAVE PROVIDED. THEY ARE NOW IGNORING MY EMAILS. I HAVE INVOICES TO PAY BUT CANT AND DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS.

As a financial institution, Countingup may need to take measures such as better understanding, suspending, and/or closing accounts as part of our legal and regulatory obligations.

It's important to note that all financial institutions have the authority to impose suspensions or closures at any time. These actions are not specific to Countingup alone.

This means that regardless of where you choose to bank in the UK, similar actions could occur. Banks and financial institutions are sometimes required by law to take action without informing account holders.

These actions are outlined in the Terms & Conditions that you agreed to when opening your account with us and have been detailed in our communications since then.

We will not publicly comment on specific reasons or actions we may or may not have taken due to the complex legal and regulatory obligations we hold. However, we will provide as much information as we can privately.

My query was about how it doesn't seem…

My query was about how it doesn't seem possible to raise credit nortes on cancelled invoices any more, even though I am following their instructions, yet all I get is the same instructions. When I am a little less busy I will be moving back to Lloyds Bank. I wish I'd never left. You can't call the support, you can't email them, you have to use this weird non-live chat thing which doesn't work well and then stops working, so I am left with no option than to leave this review, whch I really don't like doing as it's public and no one wants to slag off anyone publicly, but there's no other option.

Our customers have 2 ways of contacting us if needed, secure messaging and emailing support@countingup.com.

Secure messaging is a safer way of communication as this can only be accessed through your app. However, this is not a live chat service and available between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Regarding your query regarding invoicing, I can see that the support team member has responded directly to you.

Give up traditional banks

I have been an account holder at most major banks for the last 30 yrs. All fine until a few yrs ago when their attitude went downhill collectively. I have always been in credit but did not feel valued. Countingup was very easy to join and the use if the account us very simple. The information provided in use us exceptional.

Horrible experience with Counting Up

Horrible experience with Counting Up. Don't bother using these guys; as a previous customer has highlighted, they will hold your funds for 45 days when you decide to close your account. I decided to leave them due to a lack of customer service, or no customer service to say the least, at times ridiculous transfer times in sending or receiving funds, and the list goes on. There are better facilities out there; don't bother with these clowns.

Honestly just wanted a new account number and sort code

Even better I can deposit cash at paypoint or post office

5* the card arrived really quickly and activated and ready to go

Can't wait to do some business and get the ball rolling. Perfect for opportunistic starting point, eg you want a bank account but getting files sent for a proper bank is lengthy this place is a doddle. Proof of address is all I needed no identity but they check the files online and when it comes back legit they give you the card right away. Thank you for the opportunity to get started with my business idea 💡 🙏 😊

FRAUDSTERS

This company helped someone fraudulently use my home address for a new LTD

Have reported to action fraud and HMRC and am waiting to hear from my solicitor.

We utilise publicly available information from the Companies House register to send out marketing letters. *Please note that we do not retain any personal information in our systems unless an application is submitted.*

From your reports, it seems like your address is being targeted for setting up 'fake' businesses at Companies House. If you haven't already, we recommend contacting Companies House to request appropriate action to prevent further registration at your address.

I have requested further information from you in order to investigate further.

I have shared your feedback with our marketing team and inquired about the possibility of blocking your address but as we don't store any personal information within our system for any non-applications or current customers, it makes it harder for us to proactively prevent our letters.

Please rest assured that we will do what we can to remove your address from future mailing where possible once we receive the information from you. If you do receive any further mailing for any new businesses, please let us know providing the company's name as displayed on the letter.
