 I don't know what's going on with Sim file share right now, but there have been reports of strange installation files in place of package files in downloads. So instead of manually fixing every single Sims file share upload I'm going to give you all a link to my Sims file share back up folder on media fire.

14 Years Of TheNinthWaveSims

 So I missed the actual anniversary by a day. But the site has been around for 14 years as of yesterday. And in that time I brought you so many cool mods, objects, foods, careers and majors, and more for The Sims 2, 3, and 4. And I think there's even a Sims 1 item here. I had so much fun doing this all. And I hope to continue as well. The first ever upload was shelving in the shape of the words live laugh love for The Sims 2. Below is a link to that.

Fixing Lucas Easy Bedding Creator Post Adobe Flash End of Life

 I'm not going to tell you here how to fix Lucas Easy Bedding Creator if you get an error when trying to open saying that something is missing. If you want to know how to fix that go here. I am going to tell you what to do if you open Lucas Easy Bedding Creator and see nothing but a big F where the bedding should be, and you aren't able to make any bedding. The file below is an older version of Flash Player which they made to no longer work on programs such as Lucas Easy Bedding Creator when they discontinued support for Flash Player in the newer version. If you have the newer version, as soon as you connect to the internet it will uninstall Flash Player, and your programs that required it will no longer work. I personally wracked my brain trying to find a way for it to work, and I found some installations from a previous version of Flash on my computer, so I tried it out and it worked. It is very important that you tick the box  Do Not Update Flash Player. If you don't, you may be back where you started from. Below is an image of the working Bedding Creator and a link to the Flash installations. Enjoy!

New Simblr - TheNinthWaveSims (In Case You Missed It)

 I've had a Tumblr account for very many years, but I didn't do much at all with it. I've revamped it to showcase older uploads from TheNinthWaveSims that people may have missed. These are my personal favourites, and many of them I myself forgot I uploaded. This should be a fun way to get some custom content you may not have been able to see, especially if you are new to the site. I hope you enjoy the retrospect finds. Enjoy!

TheNinthWaveSims Is Ready For Mediafire

I realize some of you have voiced concern that TheNinthWaveSims should be ready in case our Mediafire account is closed. I have been pretty active uploading to Mediafire recently for files too large for SimsFileShare. So I don't think we have to worry if it's just a matter of the account being active. I also logged in to my other Mediafire account. I have made backups for the entire Mediafire account which is a premium account. There are about 1,300 files on my Mediafire account, all backed up. My other non-premium Mediafire account has about 50 or so files, and is not backed up because I am unable to bulk download files on a non premium account. So, I'm hoping that they don't remove that account. I have logged in to it recently, so hopefully that will be enough. I'm not even sure that any TheNinthWaveSims.com files are on that account. Just rest assured, my main Mediafire account with the bulk of files from TheNinthWaveSims is backed up, and I will restore all of them one by one if I have to. Thanks everyone for your concern and understanding.

I think I will take this time to remind everyone about some of the features of the site some of you may not utilize.

• You can zoom in on any picture of the site for a larger view by clicking on the picture.
• The labels at the top of the page are clickable links to all uploads of that type.
• You can get back to the homepage by clicking the banner on the top of the site.
• When you get to the bottom of a page, you can click Show Older Posts to see more posts.
• You can get to any post sorted by month and year by clicking the archive on the right hand side.
• You can search any word included in a title or upload by typing in the search bar on right hand side.
• If you right click a download link, you can open in a new tab or new window.

I have a computer

I now have a computer again, so I will be posting new Sims creations very soon. First I must get all the prerequisite software needed to create, and download my games again from Origin. Please bear with me during this time. I can't start on requests right away, but I will do them in the following days and weeks. This is very exciting news for me. I hope you will enjoy the new creations.

Happy 9 Year Anniversary To TheNinthWaveSims!

I can't believe 9 years ago I started this site. Well here it is 9 years later (a great deal has happened in my personal life since then), and a couple thousand uploads later and here we are celebrating our 9 year anniversary at TheNinthWaveSims. Now, to most people 9 is not a milestone, but since the title of the site and my screen name is Ninth, I thought it would be fitting to celebrate it as a milestone year. I would like to take this time to showcase, first of all my very first creation, and then some popular creations through the years, and some of my own personal favourites. (The pictures are clickable links).

This was my very first creation for TheNinthWaveSims. It's shelving that spells out Live Laugh Love, and has 13 slots for placing deco items.

This became very popular because these blinds will fit inside ANY window. That's right, one mesh will fit into any window.

The unlocked Ikea SKIMRA lamp also gathered popularity for obvious reasons.

This upload wasn't as popular as the others, but it's probably the one upload I'm most proud of. This will make all the Freetime hobby lots, and the hidden witch lots community lots instead of hidden lots, so everyone can use them.

This kissing booth became very popular, and it's something that I had a lot of fun making too.

With the new Star Wars show showcasing The Child (or Baby Yoda as he's sometimes called), EA released a Baby Yoda statue for The Sims 4. I converted him for The Sims 2 (and 3).

I thoroughly enjoyed creating for everyone these last 9 years. Here's to another 9 more! 

Without Internet

I have been without internet for a while if you haven't noticed I've been inactive. Until I get internet set back up, all requests are on hold. I also am unable to post in the chatbox. I have very little data on my phone that I have to pay dearly for. Please bear with me during this time.

Added Two New Labels Today

Today I've added 2 new labels: Earrings and Radios . The labels can be found at the top and side of the site, and under each post of that type. This should make it easier to find what you're looking for exactly. I hope you enjoy the new labels.

If you come across a broken download link, please, add the upload page link (URL) in the comments below and I will do my best to track down the file and fix the broken link if possible.
 
Some files have been lost, if anyone out there has any of the lost files, it would be much appreciated if you could share them here as well.

I have some of my own projects going at the moment that are taking a lot of my time (clothing conversions are not as easy as I thought), then I can fulfill them. Why TheNinthWave

TheNinthWave was chosen by me as a screen name to symbolize creativity. It's from a selection of songs on Kate Bush's album The Hounds of Love, it's from the classic poem The Coming of Arthur by Lord Alfred Tennyson, and it's also a painting by Ivan Aivazovsky.

I memorized the excerpt from the poem long ago mentioning The Ninth Wave. It's very beautiful, lyrical and romantic.

"Wave after wave, each mightier than the last, til at last, a ninth one, gathering half the deep and full  of voices, rose, and plunged, roaring. And all the wave was in a flame." 

How to tell a Sims 2 post from a Sims 3 post here

There are a few people that get confused as to what is Sims 2 and what is Sims 3 here, just to make it clear Sims 2 will be labeled The Sims 2, and have The Sims 2 in the title. Sims 3 posts will be labelled The Sims 3 and have The Sims 3 in the title. It's very important to know what game you are installing for, because if you install something for Sims 2 into a Sims 3 game it can cause problems, I'm pretty sure the same goes for Sims 2. Just a friendly reminder, if you're in doubt, always check the first part of the title.
