He's always very composed, but her authenticity and her roots...who she was in this country as a child and who she is now as a person, she got him.

when she spoke about living in a house slaves built and contrasted that with her daughters playing with their dog on the lawn.... It reminded me of the day of her husband's inauguration. I was a die-hard Hillary supporter, but seeing the nation come together to celebrate the swearing in of the first Black president.

I also thought her statement about how Hillary Clinton made it possible for her daughters to take having a woman president for granted.

During the Republican convention and all that founding fathers blather, when the camera panned the crowd my husband started trying to count black people to see if enough were at the convention to add up to a whole founding fathers black person..

Robbed us. On the other hand though, she was less than enthused about what placing her children in the White House could do to hurt them. From day one she's been on that patrol. She was busy, raising her girls and pushing the toxicity out of her home.
