July Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Happy July 1st! Welcome to another fun blog hop! If you're just arriving here, that means you checked out the beautiful creations from Barb.  She has been doing a great job of organizing our monthly blog hops and the various themes.

Can you believe there are only six months left until the end of 2018, wow, that was fast! It definitely has been a fun year so far! It's also two months into the new Stamping' Up! catalog and my favorite stamp set continues to be Accented Blooms. So many possibilities with this stamp set and I love that it coordinates with the Tailored Tag punch.

For my first card, I used the new InColor Blueberry Bushel as the base of my card. I also used the InColor 6x6 DSP, which comes in new designs! I embossed the large flower image with white embossing powder onto the watercolor paper, then played with the Brusho Crystal Colour in Brilliant Red. I've been having fun playing with Brusho, have you tried it yet? The sentiment is also embossed with white embossing powder.

For my second card, I followed the same pattern, instead used the new InColor Lovely Lipstick as my base. I used the Prussian Blue Brusho.

This was a fun theme for me as it challenged me to use the colors differently.

Up next is Mary! Can't wait to see what she has in store for us!

Below are all my fellow Demos who are participating in the blog hop with me. Stop by and visit them and leave the some blog hop love.

June Blog Hop

I seriously can not believe it is June 1st!  May just flew by, as is 2018! It's definitely been a busy past month. Anyhow,  thanks for stopping by today!  Glad you are here.  Did you check out Barb's creation?  Hope you are feeling better Barb.

Our new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog kicks off today and there so great new items in it!  This year Stampin' Up! is celebrating 30 years!  Happy 30th Stampin' Up!  I myself, will be celebrating eight years of being a demonstrator. Still love it and am so happy to be a part of a great company.

For my creations, I'm featuring the stamp set Accented Blooms, which also coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch. I decided to keep my creations simple and focus on stamps, ink and paper, after all, that's what first attracted me to Stampin' Up! Love how everything coordinates, which makes it easier for me. I embossed the background in white embossing powder. I'm also showcasing the new 2018-2020 InColors. I also used the new InColor 6x6 DSP, which is the perfect size for cards. Sometimes simple doesn't have to be boring, not with such beautiful colors.

This is Lovely Lipstick.

This is Grapefruit Grove.

 This is Call Me Clover.

This is Blueberry Bushel.

 This is Pineapple Punch.

Up next is Connie! Can't wait to see what she has in store for us!

May Blog Hop

Hello Stampers and Friends!  Hope you are doing well.  It's May 1st and that means it's time for another fun blog hop with my fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators with Di's Country INKers.  The theme this month is Mother's Day. Great time to plan ahead and create some cards with this theme.

I played along with the Designers over at CAS(E) this Sketch! this week. Their sketch inspired me to create a clean and simple card. Check out their blog for more inspiration.

I used the new stamp set called "Love What You Do" and it will be featured in the upcoming new annual catalog!  Better yet, you can purchase it now! The sentiments in the stamp set are beautiful. The base of my card is thick Whisper White, with Flirty Flamingo card stock. I inked the leaves in a new ink color and new InColor, Call Me Clover, it's a bright green color. I added some colorful bling with the Tutti-Fruti Adhesive Backed Sequins and the Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes from the Occasions catalog. I spelled out "Mom" with the Hand Lettered Alphabet stamp set. My color combo for this card was Call Me Clover, Flirty Flamingo and Powder Pink.

Can't wait to see what Connie has in store for us.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great week.

March Blog Hop

Hello Stampers! Welcome back to another fabulous edition of our monthly blog hop!  We're all current Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, part of Diana Gibbs' County INKers team.  So our theme this month is the end of Sale-A-Bration 2018!  Can't believe how quickly this year is going by and Sale-A-Bration will be over by the end of March. Still lots of great items you can earn with a qualifying order.

If you're just arriving, welcome!  I'm sure you checked out Barb's creation.  For my creation, I used the stamp set Heartfelt Blooms.  It's part of Stamping' Up!'s new Distinktive stamp line, which gives you a photographic finish.  I created this card as part of a swap with our team this past weekend.  I used the InColor Flirty Flamingo since it will be retiring later this year. I paired with Basic Black and another InColor, Lemon Lime Twist.

Since I had to create 10 similar cards, I kept the design simple. I'm sure I was inspired by a blog sketch challenge but sadly, now I don't remember which blog challenge.

We created this fun card at our meeting, it features the stamp set Party Pandas and it is just too cute.  Diana Gibbs designed this card and luckily, I got to play, well, color with the new Stamping' Blends markers. The Party Pandas are so cute and they are fun to color. The DSP is also from Sale-A-Bration, it's the Bubbles and Fizz DSP. This is such a cheerful birthday card.

My last creation, another one that Diana designed also features the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set. However, the star of this card is the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. Can I just tell you how BEAUTIFUL it is in person!  WOW!  The technique with this card, using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, we inked it directly onto the paper and then using a sponge, dabbed it around the paper.  It gave the paper such a cool effect! Because parts of the paper are foiled, it resisted the black ink. I hope I'm explaining this correctly, if not, let me know.

Up next is my awesome friend Ellie!  Can't wait to see her creation.

February Blog Hop

Happy February 1st Friends! 2018 is definitely underway and in full swing. Welcome to another fun blog hop with my fellow demonstrators within Di's Country INKers. The theme this month is Valentine's Day. I love creating Valentine's Day cards and projects and my goal this month is to send out my cards early so that they arrive by February 14.

So on to the blog hop, if you're just arriving, you have visited Barb's Blog and seen her beautiful creation. I love her creations and so grateful that she is part of our team.

It has been a while since I played along with the amazing designers over at Fab Friday and their sketch really inspired me.  It's fun playing with blog challenges because it gets my creativity mojo going. Make sure you check out their creations as well.

For my first creation, I used the new stamp set from the 2018 Occasions catalog, Fortunate To Know You. February is also the month of the Chinese New Year, which 2018 is the Year of the Dog. The base of my card is Crumb Cake and I layered with another piece of Crumb Cake, except I sponged the edges of Early Espresso. I remember when I first started stamping, I used to sponge every piece of paper on my cards. The sentiment is from the Blooming' Love stamp set. Really love the way this turned out, perfect masculine card, no?

The Fab Friday sketch inspired me to create another card, this time celebrating my home state of Arizona. February 14 is also our birthday, back on 1912 we became the 48th State. The base of my card is Melon Mambo and the designer series paper is the Painted with Love Specialty. The colors is this DSP are so pretty!  I also used the new embossing folder called Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions. Love the subtle effect of the sequins. I traced a sticker of the Arizona shape onto one of the DSPs. Love living in Arizona, been here since I was three years old.

One last project to share with you all. While I was creating the other projects, the idea for this card popped into my head and I had to run with it while it was fresh on my mind. Does that ever happen to you?  I combined two, really three items from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration. I absolutely  love the way it turned out! Sometimes I amaze myself! LOL. The "YOU" sentiment is from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, which you can earn for free with a $100 purchase. The "are simply" sentiment is from the Amazing You stamp set and you earn this stamp set with a $50 purchase.  Both are in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Everything else on my card is from the Sunshine & Rainbows Bundle, which you save 10% when you buy the bundle. Oh, and the clear epoxy shapes are new as well!  I just love this card and the sentiment is right on point. If someone gave me this card, it would make me smile. This will be the card I make this month to send out to friends and family.

One of the big reasons I joined to be a demonstrator was for the discount in ordering Stampin' Up! items.  My wish list continues to grow and the discount helps. I love being a demonstrator and being a part of the Stamping' Up! family.

Up next is Connie!  Can't wait to see her creations for this month.

Happy 2018!

Hello Stampers! Happy New Year!  Can't believe it's already 2018. I definitely have some crafty goals for the new year, definitely creating more and sharing more.  If you're new to my blog, welcome!  I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2010. This was the second time I had signed up to be demo and I still love it! I've been a part of Di's Country INKers since 2010 and she is an amazing leader.  Every month, we have a different blog hop theme and this month, the theme is new items from the 2018 Occasions Catalog or the 2018 Sale-a-Bration catalog.

For my creations today, I'm featuring the Picture Perfect 6x6 Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog.  Before you continue scrolling down to see the images, let me just share that my creations for the blog hop this month are simple.  I share that because sometimes, as a demo, I think that all my creations should be perfect and so detailed and sometimes that stresses me out. Which really, that doesn't matter, as long as you took the time to create something and share with it others, that's all that matters.  So, since I'm always needing birthday cards, I decided to make simple cards, and showcase the paper, which this DSP is perfect for.

The sentiment for this card above is from the Stamp Set Beautiful Day. I'll showcase another card with that set later.

The coordinating colors of the DSP are Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party and Whisper White.

Isn't this card yummy!  Gotta love those sugar cookies and zero calories!  This sentiment is from the Lemon Zest stamp set. Love the photo and made it my focal point.

I instead decorated the inside of my card. I used the thick Whisper White cardstock as my base which works perfect for making several greeting cards.

Up next is my amazing friend Ellie! Can't wait to see what she creates!

If you get lost, don't worry, below are all the links to our blogs!  Stop by and share the love.

Wishing you all the best for 2018!  May have a very crafty year. Thanks for stopping by.

May Country INKers Blog Hop

Happy May Stampers! Can't believe it is May 1st, this year is flying by fast.  This theme this month is Mother's Day. I spent all day creating and it is something I very much needed, for my soul. Creating helps me relax and refocus on what is important. Anyhow, if you're just arriving, you just finished checking out Barb's beautiful creation. Glad we continue to create together and blog hop together.

I have great news to share with you all, I've been invited to be a part of the Design Team for the Creative Crew over at Splitcoaststampers. Starting today (May 1st) through August 2017. I'm excited and I'm part of a great team. Every month we'll have different challenges so come join us and create with us! In fact, the card below is one of the cards I created for the challenge, which was a One Layer Base Card Sketch Challenge. Haven't created one of those in long time. It was fun.

Can't believe I finally inked up my Succulent Garden Suite; the stamp set and the coordinating framelit dies.  And it will not be carried over into the upcoming new catalog. It's okay though, I like it so much, I'm keeping it in my stash.

Up next is the talented Ellie!  Can't wait to see what she created.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week.

April Blog Hop

Happy April 1st Stampers!  Almost wish it was a joke that it's already April 1st, but it is. Luckily, it means it's time for another fun blog hop with my fellow Di Country INKers.  The theme this month is Spring and we have some beautiful creations to share with you all.  Make sure you check them all out.

This week I played along with the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, the Designers always come up with some fun sketches and I try to play along as much as I can.

I was inspired to use the Basket Bunch Bundle from the Occasions catalog, perfect for a spring theme card, right?  Lots of fun coloring in this set. The base of the my card is Watercolor Wonder, layered with Flirty Flamingo and the coordinating DSP. The eggs are colored on Shimmery White card stock with our Watercolor pencils-fun!

Up next is my amazing friend Ellie!  I'm so excited for her, she'll be attending our Stampin' Up! OnStage event in San Diego in a couple of days and she'll be walking on stage for her success with Stampin' Up! Congrats Ellie!

November Blog Hop!

Happy November 1st Friends! Hope you had a fun Halloween! Can't believe it is now November 1st. The year is quickly winding down and before you know it, it will be 2017!  Wow!  If you are just arriving, you just saw Barb's beautiful creation. Isn't it beautiful?

Here is my creation for our blog hop this month. I saw the sketch on Just Add Ink and was inspired to use it for my card. Lots of great inspiration on their blog, check them out.

I used the stamp set "Acorny Thank You", which I thought was perfect for our fall theme. I used the new Copper Foil Sheets and the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper from the 2016 Holiday Catalog as well as the Seasonal Decorative Masks.

Up next is Mary. Can't wait to see her beautiful creation this month.

Thanks for joining us once again this month. Hope you have an awesome week.
