Blanche started ECWC over 20 years ago with her lifelong friend Margy Meredith. Involved in Women’s Ministries Leadership for over 30 years, she attends the Church of the Nazarene and enjoys doing arts and crafts in her spare time.
Kim Lucar - President
Kim was a life-long Michigan resident until moving to Solivita in 2018. She had worked for over 30 years in planning and community development for a local government. She and her husband have four grown daughters and two granddaughters. Kim has been actively serving ECWC for over four years in her roles of Social Activities Lead, Treasurer/Registrar, Leadership Team Events Lead and currently President. Mickie Mariello - Vice President & Co-Administrator
Mickie and her husband, Darrell moved to Solivita in 2019 from Charlotte, NC, to “do life” with their two young grandchildren. Prior to living in Charlotte, they resided in Buffalo, NY. In Charlotte, Mickie worked for 13 years in the finance department of Alleghany Technologies Inc. Mickie has also loved volunteering and was on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo and taught children’s Sunday school. She attends the Grove Bible Chapel in Winter Gardens where she enjoys taking her grandchildren and volunteering in children’s church. In addition to her Bible study groups and hosting an ECWC Book Club, Mickie enjoys traveling and participating in the various activities Solivita has to offer including dragon boating, biking, taking exercise classes and attending concerts. Ginny Monica - Team Lead - Communications & Co-Administrator
Ginny moved to Solivita in 2020 with her husband of 51 years and two of their three sons. The family has lived all over the United States, following Bob's career as a hotel general manager, and Florida remains one of their favorite locations. Their third son and their grandchildren live in Brooklyn, NY. Ginny worked with Anthem Insurance for 23+ years, and retired as a team manager in 2020. She was raised in a loving Christian home and attended local churches in all of the places they lived. Pat Dixon - Treasurer & Registrar
Pat moved to Solivita in 2015 and is a member at Poinciana Christian Church. She is active in SALT, the ladies Bible study and supports ECWC. Vangie Armiger - Team Member - Bible Studies / Book Clubs Coordinator
Vangie Armiger and her husband, Tom, moved to Solivita full-time in March, 2018. They have been married 46 years and are the parents of three grown sons, who with their wives have blessed Tom and Vangie with eight grandchildren. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Vangie lived in Allentown, PA, from 1st grade through her senior year in high school. She then attended IN Wesleyan University for her BS in education and Emporia State University in Kansas for her Masters degree. She is a former teacher of preschool, kindergarten, and 5th grade students and also administrated two childcare centers. Tom and Vangie raised their sons mostly in Fishers, IN, where Tom served as a pastor and a denominational executive in The Wesleyan Church. Vangie loves to read, write, swim, and play pickleball. Renate Skor - Team Member - Events / Technology Support
Renate has been a Solivita resident since 2018. Born and raised in Germany, she moved to the United States in 1975 after completing University in Germany. After a brief residence in Syracuse, NY, she lived in Minneapolis, MN where she completed a graduate degree in human resource development. Renate spent most of her professional life managing various busineses in a human resource capacity and also had a second career as a translator and interpreter. Raised in a "church-going" home, she developed her faith and walk with God after coming to the USA. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters in Connecticut. Renate attends Celebration Community Church and is involved in ECWC Bible studies and Koinonea book club. Jill Anderson - Team Member - Connect Ministries Coordinator / Events
Jill and her husband Don moved to Solivita in the fall of 2023 from Naperville, Illinois where they raised their 3 children. They were both born and raised in the same small suburb of Chicago. Jill has recently retired after 34 years as a pediatric physical therapist. Since arriving here, Jill has served ECWC in various roles and is involved in Bible studies and assists with event planning. She and Don are memebers of Celebration Community Church. Jill enjoys spending time in the sunshine (goodbye cold Chicago winters!), reading, fitness classes, attending concerts and social events, and playing Mahjong and pickleball.
