Hi lovelies! I love using random objects in an unconventional way, and when I found these adorable macaron stickers at Michaels, I knew they'd make some adorable art! So when the glass from this picture frame broke :( I decided to give it a new life. {Click for the how-to!}

DIY ~ Geometric Mountain Doormat
Hi lovelies! I'm back with an awesome new DIY for you today. I saw this doormat and knew I could easily recreate it for a fraction of the price. So I did! You wouldn't believe how easy it is and it really doesn't take much time at all. {How-to after the jump!}

DIY ~ Pyramid Stud Wall Decor
Hi lovelies! I feel as though my condo is in an ever-changing state of decorating. I'm constantly reassessing what I've done and what I can still do to further incorporate my glam mountain resort condo theme I've chosen. I have this empty space above my desk that is the backside of the kitchen (is it bad that I use my dining room as my crafting room rather than it's intended use?) which I've struggled with for years. I hung some foam core board to use as my inspiration board, but the plain spot of wall between that and the ceiling has perplexed me.
I finally had a brainblast (Jimmy Neutron fans? Anyone?) and thought that I wish I could just put some huge pyramid studs up there. So I hit my recycling bin, dug out some cardboard, and got to work. {Click to keep reading, and to see how I made these!}

My June Whimseybox ~ Unwrapped
Hi lovelies! You may (or may not!) have heard of the awesome company, Whimseybox. It's a community for makers. It's a one stop shop for the best in DIY and crafts. It's a place to be inspired and buy the supplies for your next project. Aaaand it's the original DIY craft monthly subscription box (and only $15/month!). Whimseybox is located in Boulder, CO, so I've been fortunate to have met the team a few times and they are even more amazing than you could imagine!
What I love especially about Whimseybox is that you learn a new craft skill every month. Seriously. This month it was all about gold leafing (I threw in some silver too, to make it my own!), previous month's projects have included wool felting, paper flower-making, calligraphy, air-dry clay, cement, hand sewing, macrame, and making your own hand scrub and lotion, just to name a few! {More after the jump!}

DIY ~ Silver Leafed Flamingo Fauxidermy
Hi lovelies! This may be one of my fave DIYs, like ever. I have these plastic flamingos on my patio that I've had for years and the poor guys have certainly seen better days; they're sun-faded and a little sad looking. So I decided to spruce one up a bit, and bring him inside where he can shine and be the center of attention! This project took an afternoon, and was really simple to do. {Click for the how-to!}

DIY ~ Riveted Vase
Hi lovelies! I've had this fun riveted looking vase made for a while now, but realized I never shared it. The idea came to me when I did my Ikea Lack Table Hack and I'm really pleased with how Kelly Wearstler-esque this came out. You really won't believe how easy it is to make and I especially love it styled with paper flowers I made from last month's Whimseybox (get the kit, here!) {Click for the how-to!}

DIY Metallic End Table ~ Ikea Lack Hack
Hi lovelies! This DIY may just be an all time fave of mine. It was so simple, and makes such a huge impact. Who doesn't love Ikea's simple, inexpensive pieces? I picked up two Lack side tables a while back for only $8 a piece. I love the simplicity of them, but I wanted to take it up just a slight notch to better fit with the silver metallic legs of my furniture.
Here's the before! Now there's absolutely nothing wrong with them, and they do look great. But the end result is so good. You won't believe how simple this is! {Click for the how-to!}

DIY ~ Tropical Doormat
Hi lovelies! While I've been super sick with a sinus infection from hell, I've *finally* got a new DIY for you! I've been wanting something cute and quirky yet unique to put outside my front door. I came across the perfect mat at Ikea for only $10 and put a fun twist on it with some paint and a stencil. I couldn't be happier with how it came out! {How-to after the jump!}

DIY ~ Reed Diffuser Using Old Suntan Oil
Hi lovelies! If you're anything like me, you looooove the smell of suntan oil. And by suntan oil, I mean Hawaiian Tropic, with no SPF or anything. I love that stuff. I used to put it on over sunscreen just because I love how it smells. I think I have like 3 bottles of it lol! Well I got a genius idea the other day, and I must admit, I'm quite proud of myself!
