DIY ~ Vintage Gem Cuff

Hi lovelies!  I'm in love with vintage jewelry and love creating beautiful pieces using vintage rhinestones, which thanks to etsy, I've amassed quite a collection of.  This DIY is so easy - the hardest part is deciding on a design and possibly even more than that, which stones to use.  Once that hard part is over though, you will have a vintage inspired bracelet that will have your friends asking what other heirloom pieces you have!  {Click for the how-to, as well as where to buy the perfect vintage stones!}

DIY ~ Wooden Color Cut Bracelet

Hi lovelies!  I've got a really fun DIY for you today.  I was inspired by this Kate Spade Saturday bracelet, which I can't find anymore and is sold out.  Although it's certainly not an expensive piece, it was so easy to recreate; I had everything needed on hand and my boyfriend helped out with the flattening of the beads. {How-to after the jump}

DIY ~ Bracelet and Necklace from Lone Earring & Broken Purse Strap

Hi lovelies!  In keeping with this week's theme of re-imagining old or broken pieces of jewelry into new, wearable pieces, I tackled two birds with one stone here!  Would you believe the above bracelet was constructed from a broken purse strap (clasp & all!) and part of a lone earring?

And this necklace used up some of my scrap chain pieces along with the rest of said earring?  If you've ever lost an earring, it's painful.  I know.  But in the event you hoard jewelry supplies can't let go of pieces with potential, now it's the perfect time to dig them out and get to work!  {Click for the how-to!}

DIY ~ Dainty Bracelet Using Fishing Swivel Links

Hi lovelies!  Today's DIY is a fun, dainty bracelet.  As much as I love bold pieces, I have such an affinity toward soft, dainty pieces as well.  Remember the jewelry from hardware trend?  I'm saying bye (for now!) to Home Depot and hello! to Bass Pro Shop!    {Click for the how to!}

DIY ~ Studded Satin Cord Cobra Bracelets

Hi lovelies!  Long overdue, I have a new DIY for you!  If you remember wayyyy back in the day, I did 30 days of DIY and on the 30th day, I made cobra bracelets from brightly colored rope.  I'm still a huge fan of this knot, but decided to glam it up a bit this time by using satin cord and studs!  {Keep reading for the how-to!}

DIY ~ Bracelet Holder

Happy Friday, lovelies!  Ahhh organization... it's such a necessary evil, isn't it?  I have piles of baubles covering my dresser and I *try* to keep them organized, but I seriously have no idea where anything is or what I even have.  I'm very visual; I need to see things.  I was thinking about bracelet organization, and was thinking of those velvety displays you see that hold bracelets.... you'll never guess what I made this from.... {How to after the jump}

MonDIY ~ DIY Dannijo Inspired Studded Stingray Cuff Bracelet

Hey lovelies!  I'm playing catch up on blogging after a crazy weekend!  I've got lots more goodies coming your way soon, so make sure you're following!

I just finished up my weekly post over on Fashions Blogs, and I think you'll really love it!  I used the same unorthodox material as I did for my Kate Spade City Lights Inspired Bracelet.  This time though, I made the Dannijo Studded Stingray Cuff Inspired Bracelet.  The Dannijo version, now on sale, will set you back $203.  Mine cost nothing, using stuff I already had on hand.  Here's what it looks like:

DIY ~ Kate Spade City Lights Bracelet

Hiya lovelies!  I posted a teaser pic of this bracelet earlier today, and some of you may have seen the inspiration I pinned on pinterest too.  Well, here it is!

And the inspiration... I loved it when I saw it, but didn't realize the DIY potential until I saw that the bracelet was partially made of paper!

MONDIY ~ DIY Leather Bow Cuff Bracelet

Happy Halloween lovelies!  I'm again tapping into my stash of this gorgeous leather fabric I have to make another beautiful piece!  I've been seeing bow cuffs everywhere lately, and knew I could easily make my own!  Here's what you'll need:

Lay your printed, cut out oval template on your fabric and trace around it.
Cut out the leather oval, and make sure to save your scraps!
We need to cut a strip of leather that's about .5" wide and 1.5" long

Here's your two pieces.  Time to put this together!
Pinch the center of the leather oval.  I've done three pinches here, I've also done more with four.
Here's it all pinched up.
Apply a drop of glue in between each pinch, on both sides.
Use a clip to secure it for a few minutes.  See how messy the glue gets if you use more than a little drop?
Apply glue to the strip of leather, trying to spread a thin layer across the entire piece.
Wrap it around the center of the pinched and glued area, and let dry for a few.
Time to affix your snap closures!  Follow the instructions on your kit!
Finished cuff!  Snaps are on, and it's ready to wear!

How rad is this?  And how insane would this look with the leather and chain fringe earrings I made last week?  I've also made a few extra and added them to my etsy shop! >> click here.

Hope you love this!
xoxo

Obsessed ~ BaubleBar Starfish Cuff

When Grace, from Stripes and Sequins fame, tweeted a pic of herself wearing this bracelet, I died.  I'm in love with insanely unique pieces, and I'm in love with anything beachy so this was a no brainer.  It also reminded me of this Anthropologie starfish cuff I'd been coveting for some time, but was not about to drop $198 on.  So a few weeks later, Grace tweeted me and said that the cuff was now available for purchase at BaubleBar, and it was only $34, I think it was only a matter of seconds until it was purchased.  I love especially how its arms wrap around and you can adjust the cuff to better fit your wrist by lightly bending them.  It's such a statement piece, I get so many compliments on it from strangers!
Here's a pic of it with no flash on.  You can really see the detail and texture of this amazing piece.  I'd recommend getting it asap!  The price is perfect for such a quality statement piece.  Plus, if you've never ordered from BaubleBar before, you get a $10 credit on your first purchase!
I hope you love this bracelet as much as I do!
