Alison Sharp established Sharp Speech in June 2014 after 9 years of private practice experience. Alison graduated as a Speech Pathologist from La Trobe University in 1999. Prior to speech pathology, she worked as a Registered Nurse. Alison has extensive experience providing speech pathology services to children in public and private health and educational settings.
Alison is a warm, creative and family centred therapist who enjoys working with preschool and school aged children with a range of speech and language difficulties including autism, speech/language delays, phonological disorders and literacy. Alison has special interest in the areas of in autism and literacy. She works with preschoolers and primary school children.
Alison highly values community consultation and liaises regularly with child care centres, kindergartens, schools and the child’s intervention team. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
