Week 43 & Kona!

This week was pretty routine as we got back into the swing of school and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors. We also voted and took a quick trip to Atlanta to visit the Asian markets.

I made some progress on our Hawaii scrapbook too, capturing our first look at Kona and the gorgeous rainbow that greeted us there.

We had a great week at the beach. I had a hard time picking out which photos I wanted to share. I tried to pick out ones that showcased our whole family....because that's what it was about. Maybe I'll have to put together a little mini album for this trip. I also finished a couple more Hawaii pages. The second one actually showcases our first snippets of Honolulu.

Week 39 - 41 & Another Hawaii Page!

Catching up today with a few pages I created over the past couple of weeks but didn’t have the time or Wi-Fi to share until now. It’s been an eventful few weeks! First, Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina, narrowly missing our town but still knocking out power, internet, and cell service for a few days. Then came the uncertainty of Hurricane Milton, leaving us wondering if we’d have to cancel our vacation plans. We held off deciding until the last minute but, after hearing that the area we were heading to was unaffected, we went ahead with the trip.

On a creative note, I managed to complete another Hawaii page—though it's more of a "waiting at the airport" page than a true Hawaii one!

Week 38 & 1st Hawaii Page!

Not only did I get my weekly page done, but I also got all of my Hawaii pictures organized and completed the first page of our 25th Wedding Anniversary album! I'm so excited, now maybe I'll be motivated to keep working on it each week. If it wasn't so late I would work on another page!

Here's our week 38. We put up a booth for our homeschool group and won 2nd place!

It's been busy, fun times!

Week 31-34: Getting back into the swing of things!

I've fallen behind on my scrapbook pages, mainly because we've been trying to settle back into our routine while still savoring the last bits of summer. We had a surprise trip to visit my oldest daughter, a birthday party, concerts, and more! But I'm happy to say that I'm officially caught up now. I've been keeping the pages super simple to ensure I get them done. My main goal is to have a scrapbook at the end of the year for my family to look back on—nothing too fancy. I also need to start working on scrapbooking our Hawaii trip... it's time to get on that!
