With our latest release of SAP Mobile Start, you get some great new features that will make your usage of SAP Mobile Start even more effective and fun: Favourites. Furthermore, the release provides important enhancements for your to-dos.
Favourites – with SAP Mobile Start V1.12 you are now able to add your favourite apps/ tiles to your Start Screen. This includes also monitoring apps.
On your Start Screen, you have direct access to your most important six favourites and you can easily access all of them by tapping the “See All” button.
On the “See All” screen, you see all your favourites. From here, you can add or remove favourites and you can change their order. To add/ remove an app from your favourite list, you tap on “Add Favourites” and then you get a list of all your apps. The ones that are already in your favourite list have a tagged-star. Just tap on an app/ tile to add it to your favourite list or to remove it accordingly.

To change the order, tap on the “Edit”-Button and then you can just move your favourites up and down to bring them into your preferred order. Remember, the first 6 favourites will be shown on Your Start Screen, according to the order that you define here.

From anywhere in the app, also from the search result list, you can add or remove apps to/ from your favourites with a long touch on the tile. This will also allow you to bring apps that are only part of your app catalog to your favourites and if you want even to your Start Screen, so that they are always available for you.

Certainly, your favourites are available across your devices, in case you use a tablet and phone, or multiple devices of the same type. They are even available across platforms, if you use for instance an Apple iPhone and an Android tablet.
To enable the favourites on the Start Screen, we have merged the “App Suggestions” and the “Monitoring Apps” into the “App Suggestions” section.
Another remarkable feature of V1.12 is that you can now add or remove attachments to/ from your tasks. If you want to add an addition attachment from your device files or images, just tap the “+” icon in the attachment section of the task details view. To remove a given attachment, you just do a long-press on it and tap the “Delete” pop-up.
