It was almost sunset as the thick mass of clouds appeared on the horizon. NOAA’s grating voice said the storm would last all night and into the next morning. It was eminent. I though my kids might drowned while they slept.

Clearwater Florida is a BIG town, and can not be easily characterized in a few short sentences. Geographically, Clearwater includes the Gulf Beaches of Clearwater Beach and Sand Key, but these are a small portion of the city.
