I love Pakistani dishes. I think my readers will be happy seeing some Pak recipes here. This time I have brought a simple chicken curry for you, Lahori Murg, from the famous cuisine of Lahore, Pakistan. This is a very easy preparation , cooking chicken in a coarse paste of onions , tomatoes and other spices! Forget about coconut and coriander powder, try out this, hope you are going to love it...
Ingredients,
chicken 250g / 1/4kg
onion 2 medium
tomato 2
garlic and ginger paste 1 tsp each
green chillies 4 or more
coriander leaves few chopped
Kashmiri chili powder 1 tsp
pepper powder 2 tsp
garam masala 1/4 tsp
oil
salt
How I prepared,
Wash and clean chicken pieces.
Grind onion and green chillies in a grinder to make a coarse paste.
Grind tomatoes also.
Heat oil, saute onion and green chilly paste.
When the color changes slightly, saute garlic and ginger paste too.
Add chicken and tomato along with powders and salt.
Pour little water enough to make chicken cook.
Cook until the chicken is done and you get a thick curry.
Serve hot with ginger julienned and coriander leaves.
