Newly indoctrinated witch, Defiance Dayne, discovers there’s more to life after forty than she'd ever imagined possible. Especially if one is a charmling, one of only three in the world, with enough magics to make her a target for every power-hungry warlock out there. When one of them sends a hunter to town, she knows it’s time to take her talents seriously before the hunter takes her life.

She decides she has three things to do before she can die. Find out who killed her beloved grandmother, teach her BFF the finer points of spellcasting before she blows up the world, and figure out how serious her relationship with the Adonis living in her basement really is. If it’s heading in the direction she’s hoping for, she can die happy. Though, admittedly, she’d rather not. Die. Happy or otherwise.

None of that will matter, however, if she can’t figure out how to foil the supernatural assassin who’s been sent for her. Until then, it’s business—and hopefully romance—as usual. Now if she can only figure out how to tame a lacuna wolf.

Beguiled is another wonderful story in the Betwixt and Between series!  Jones delivers her signature laughs and right out, "Didn't see that coming!" throughout the story.  The sexy, Roane is back and better than ever. Defiance finally comes to grips with her magic and works out her relationship issues with the tasty shifter. Beguiled has just the right amount of mystery and steaminess. I am thrilled that Annette will have her own story in the next book.

Bewitched is all kinds of magical! Deph and Annette are hilarious as they discover the unknown in their new home and around town. Defiance's world turns upside down when she begins to unravel the dangers lying in wait for her. She begins to channel her new powers she thought she had lost due to the extreme power of her magic in book one. Annette has decided she is going to make her life in Salem and help her best friend by starting a business together. Gigi is on pins and needles as Defiances's magic emerges. There has never been a changling with the powers Deph is manifesting. The entire family has joined forces to protect Defiance, allowing her the space she needs to understand her full powers. The sexiest man alive, Roan, has his work cut out for him as he follows Deph to ensure her safety. There are plenty of steamy moments, waiting to be read. Bewitched left me yearning for more of the story to come in Beguilded.

This time around she sends us in search of a frightful creature with mysterious powers that has left Lizzie and her crew perplexed. Lizzie and the Belle will finally come face to face with their tortured past. Deadly Vows is packed with revelations and strong undercurrents of what's to come. The sexy Aidan has me at my wit's end. Will he ever tell Lizzie how he feels! The Lizzie Grace series is a sensational series filled with magic and mystery. Deadly Vows is a fantastic addition to the series and a must-read! Visit Keri Arthur for a slew of amazing books! I'm patiently waiting for the next book in The Witch King's Crown series!

Marika, aka baby mama, is not to be trifled with. She will do whatever is necessary to protect the father of her child, and that means facing an unknown enemy.
