I love Saturday nights!!! It will be a long night of reading and more reading into the wee hours of the night. I am currently reading The Mage in Black by Jaye Wells, but I am also reading To Tempt a Scotsman by Victoria Dahl. I'm tickled pink that I have made new friends through my blog. I love my new found friend Mary's blog, Book Hounds www.maryinhb.blogspot.com. I have some steep reading competition, she has read double the amount of books I have. I am confident that I will catch up, summer is here. Thanks all for the support of my blog. A shout out to Kate at Book Blogs www.bookblogs.ning.com .

Just found out that Kresley Cole is also going to Fevercon. I have to go to Atlanta. Ivy, we have to go to this thing!!! If you want to know more go to Karen Marie Moning's web site:

Sign up now, only 300 Hundred tickets available!!!

Her new book comes Demon from the Dark comes out in Aug. It's Cassie's and Malkon's story. Think that Malkon was the one that attacked the girls in the previous IAD book.

Is Malkon is a Vemon?

Vemon=Vampire + Demon

It depends on who's writing the story sometimes it's Dampir (also Dampyr) sometimes it's Vemon.

Excerpts That Drive You Mad

I just read the first chapter of Dark Peril by Christine Feehan.
If you're not a member of her site, it's time to join. You can sign up at http://www.christinefeehan.com/community/login.php
I don't want to spoil it for others, but I will tell you this... once you read it,
you will be left with this yearning for more.
Dominic has the potential of becoming one of the best heroes in the series. I just know, I won't be able to sleep well tonight. Insomnia will be my name from now until the book comes out. Not all the blame can be laid at Christine's door though. Keri Arthur
plays her part too. She had to go and post her excerpt from
Moon Sworn on her web site
http://www.keriarthur.com/books/riley-jenson-guardian-series/moon-sworn/
I have been waiting for this book for some time. Keri has said she plans on writing nine books in this series (Riley Jenson Guardian Series). Moon Sworn would be the 8th book in the series.
If you have not read Bound to Shadows there will be spoilers in the Moon Sworn excerpt. If you have not read this series, you don't know what you're missing. The characters are vibrant, in your face creations. At times I have to remind myself that these are not real people. I'm always asking Ivy, if she knows of a cure for this reading addiction.

Back from dropping off the kids at school. I'm happy they will be out soon, but dread the time I will be slaving away in the kitchen. Teens can eat like two grown men and I have three teens and one baby, talk about kitchen duty. I really like the way the school system in Puerto Rico divides the school year. Two months off during the summer- June & July, back to school in August, then 1 month off for the Christmas season. Yea, you read write one month. Puerto Rico has the second longest Christmas Season in the world (Nov.28-Jan.26) It ends with the Fiestas de la Calle de San Sebastian. The Philippines have the longest.(Starts in Oct.) Well, anyho, I have to finish my book before I have to pick up my kids.
Remember to send in any ides you may have.

I have so much fun sharing the books I'm reading with Ivy.
We talk or email at leat 3 times a week.
Although she lives an ocean away, it seems like she is right next
door and we could get together for a cup of coffee.
I was sending her a new book title this week and we were joking
about not doing anything but reading. I told her I belonged to
Readaholics Anonymous and she sent an email back saying to sign her up.
So here is our new blog. Please lets us know what you think,
and please send in your reasons for being a readaholic. Ivy your the best!!!
