I love cozy, warm sweaters with a little bit of glamour. This one provides exactly that: the soft fluffy yarn makes it perfectly snuggly. And while it looks simple from the stockinette front, as soon as you turn your back there is a bit of spice with the Star Stitch pattern. The loose fit makes it perfect for a day at the office or just relaxing at home.

The sweater body is worked flat from the back hem, up the Star Stitch back, over the shoulders, and down the stockinette front. The neck opening is created by placing back neck stitches on hold then casting on front neck stitches. The armholes are shaped with decreases and increases, and the neckline is shaped with short rows. After seaming the sides, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked from the top down in the round. Ribbing is added around the neck to finish.
