Red Basalt is a DK version of Black Basalt, an everyday wardrobe staple, your ‘always-reach-for’ basic cardigan.
Red Basalt has a neckline similar to that of Black Basalt and the same length.

The cuffs are finished with the buttonband edging.

Stitch counts and sizing are otherwise the same as for Blue Basalt.

The double-knitted pockets require rather advanced knitting. If you carefully follow the step-by-step instructions and the tutorial photos, you should be fine, but you may choose to skip the pockets altogether or opt for one of the simpler versions (see Tutorial section in the book).
