Daisy Waves is also available as part of the Seven Colorwork Adventures eBook.

A paintbox of daisies and a rainbow of waves combined in lace knitting, stranding and intarsia.

Knit on 2.5mm/US1½ needles with 2 ColorShift Yarn sets:
MC: 2 sets of ColorShift Yarn parade cool color progression. Each set has 720yds/658m in nine 80yd/73m skeins.
The sample requires approximately 1.5 sets/1080yds/1000m of MC.

CC: ColorShift Yarn parade warm color progression.
The sample has 85 daisies, each requiring approximately 2yds/1.8m of yarn - a total of 170yds/153m.

Unfortunately, ColorShift is discontinued. If you are looking for substitute yarns, ColorShift Yarn is described in the Etsy Store as a two-ply jumper weight (fingering) yarn milled from 23.5 micron superwash Merino wool that knits up at about 8 st/in on US1-2 needles (2.25-2.75mm). There is a Gorgeous Gradients group here on Ravelry which might be a good starting point for substitute gradient yarns, and you can click on the “yarn ideas” tab above to see what yarns have been used in Ravelry projects.

A complex project, with lace knitting on both sides. Familiarity with intarsia a must!
The lace shaping creates unevenness in the intarsia stitches.

Gauge: approximately 22sts and 36 rows = 4 inches in stocking stitch.
Dimensions after blocking: a parallelogram, approximately 70in/178cm long x 20in/51cm

It’s easy to adapt the pattern make a wider, narrower, longer or shorter version.
