Who Started First, Jim Or Pam?

Who Started First, Jim Or Pam?

    From Redditor u/kevinkim4714:

The writers can never seem to make up their mind (for several seasons on a random basis) on who joined the company first, Jim or Pam. Gets to the point where it feels like it's some ongoing joke/Easter egg from the writers, no one can be this inconsistent... right?

Andy's Parents Were Introduced With Different Names

Andy's parents are introduced with different names but also in season 6 he says on secretary's day, "If it wasn't for secretaries, I wouldn't have a step-mom."

Michael's Ability To Ride A Bike

Michael's Ability To Ride A Bike

    From Redditor u/DerrayProductions:

I just noticed this massive plot hole. Micheal donated his childhood bike without training wheels into the toy box, however a pre-episode joke later on is that Micheal never learned how to ride a bike.

    Pam's Athleticism

    Pam's Athleticism

    From Redditor u/recker711:

When Pam is walking around her high school (during "Job Fair") she talks about always faking her period to get out of volleyball/gym class... then in "Company Picnic" we see her go full Misty May on everyone.

    The Hammermill Dilemma

    From Redditor u/kevinkim4714:

Meredith could not have been sleeping with a Hammermill rep for discounts on supplies for 5 years when Dunder Mifflin's contract with Hammermill happened only ~2 years before at the business convention.

Andy Says His Sales Are Down But That's Clearly Not The Case

Andy Says His Sales Are Down But That's Clearly Not The Case

    From Redditor u/BruleMD:

In S6E2 Michael goes to talk to Andy while Jim and David are having their secret meeting in the conference room. Michael asks Andy how his sales are doing, to which Andy responds: "How are my sales doing? Busted. You know what, my numbers are down - a little bit. It's because of the economy."

However, in S6E1 when Michael starts spreading the rumor about Stanley's affair to Kelly, we can see a whiteboard with the sales staff's ending quarterly sales. The list shows Andy as being the top salesman for the quarter, beating Jim by ~2K and Dwight by ~9K.

    Meredith Was An Accountant First

    Meredith Was An Accountant First

    From Redditor u/itsmeanonymouse:

In a very early episode, I think Jim writes on Meredith's birthday card that she's not old because she's "an accountant, just fudge the numbers." And of course she's not an accountant.

    Bird-Day

    Bird-Day

    From Redditor u/homeschooldodgeball:

Bird-day plot hole. S4E7 Angela says Meredith's bird-day is at the end of "bird-day month" because Kelly, Oscar, and Creed are before her. S1E4 Michael wants to throw a bird-day party but there are none "until next month" which is Meredith's. Not proud, just bored.

    Michael's Sleeping Habits

    Michael's Sleeping Habits

    From Redditor u/maydog916:

In Episode 408, "The Deposition," Michael clearly states he keeps his diary on Jan's side of the mattress because he doesn't like the lump. However, in the very next episode, "Dinner Party," it's shown that Michael sleeps on the bench, not the mattress.

    Jim And Katy's Relationship

    Jim And Katy's Relationship

    From Redditor u/dinkin_flicka1:

S2:E09 Email Surveillance - Jim hosts his BBQ and as the tour of the house starts Ryan asks Jim if Katy is coming. Jim says "Um, actually I haven't talked to her in a while."

S2:E11 Booze Cruise - Jim and Katy are there together and before the cruise is over they break up.

Potential explanations: Jim only said that to Ryan at his BBQ because Pam was there and he didn't want Pam to hear him say they are still together. Or, Jim and Katy got back together between the BBQ and the Booze Cruise.
