Though the topics were decidedly - and deliberately - outrageous and politically incorrect, Burnham's faux-wholesome delivery and button-down appearance, as well as the choice of his own bedroom and family as backdrop, did much to defang the potentially offensive nature of the material. He began posting the songs to YouTube and other social media sites in 2006, where they garnered millions of hits. Their popularity led to a contract with Comedy Central, which yielded his television debut at 18 on a segment of the 2008 special "The World Stands Up" and his self-titled debut comedy album in 2009. Writer-director Judd Apatow soon tapped him to collaborate on a parody of the popular "High School Musical" franchise (Disney Channel, 2004-07), and while the project did not come to fruition, Burhnam made his feature film debut with a cameo in Apatow's "Funny People" (2009). After recording his first one-hour comedy special, "Bo Burnham: Words, Words, Words" (Comedy Central, 2010), Burnham began work on developing a comedy series, "Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous" (MTV, 2013); the comedy, about a naĂ¯ve teenager who sets out to become a celebrity despite his lack of discernable talent, debuted on MTV in 2013 but lasted only a season. Undaunted, Burnham returned to a steady schedule of touring and recording comedy albums and specials, including 2013's what. and 2016's "Bo Burnham: Make Happy" (Netflix), while also expanded his acting resume with supporting roles in the critically acclaimed "The Big Sick" (2017) and "Rough Night" (2017). The following year, he scored a personal and professional triumph by writing and directing "Eighth Grade" (2018). The comedy-drama, inspired by his own teenage years, followed a socially anxious teen (played by Elsie Fisher) as she navigated the emotional upheaval prior to high school through a series of comic advice vlogs. The film earned Burnham an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay and the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding First-Time Feature and Writers Guild Award for Best Original Screenplay. The success of the film led to a diverse array of assignments, from writing songs for a "Sesame Street" (PBS/HBO, 1969- ) movie musical to acting in "Promising Young Woman" (2019) an ensemble drama starring Carey Mulligan for director Emerald Fennell ("Killing Eve," BBC America, 2016- ).

He has collaborated with producer Ryan Lewis as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Since 2000, he has independently released one mixtape, three EPs, and four albums. Macklemore and Lewis's single "Thrift Shop" reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 2013. The single was soon dubbed by Billboard as the first song since 1994 to top the Hot 100 chart without the support of a major record label, although Macklemore, in a slightly unusual recording contract, pays a nominal percentage of sales to use Warner Bros. Records's radio promotion department to push his singles. Their second single, "Can't Hold Us", also peaked at number one on the Hot 100 chart, making Macklemore and Lewis the first duo in the chart's history to have their first two singles both reach the peak position. Macklemore and Lewis released their debut studio album The Heist on October 9, 2012, which charted at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The pair won four Grammy Awards at the 2014 ceremony, including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album (The Heist), Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance ("Thrift Shop"). Their second album, This Unruly Mess I've Made, was released on February 26, 2016. In June 2017, Macklemore released "Glorious", a single featuring Skylar Grey. This marked his return to the music industry, as well as his first major single produced without Lewis since his mainstream breakthrough. His second solo studio album, Gemini, was released on September 22, 2017.

Benito Antonio MartĂnez Ocasio was born on March 10, 1994 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. MartĂnez wanted to be a singer since he was five years old. He studied audiovisual communication at the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo before leaving the program to pursue his music career.

As the founder of the independent record label, Thizz Entertainment, Hicks recorded dozens of albums and gave aspiring rappers an outlet to release albums locally.In 2004, Hicks was killed by an unknown assailant after a performance in Kansas City, Missouri, a case that remains unsolved.

Born and raised in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group. Kharbouch released his mixtape debut in 2007 and in 2010, had a breakthrough with the single "Choppa Choppa Down". He released his debut studio album Excuse My French on May 21, 2013. In July 2017, Montana released his second studio album, Jungle Rules, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The album was supported by the single "Unforgettable", featuring Swae Lee, which became Montana's first song as lead artist to reach the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Throughout his history at Song Fight!, he has never lost a competition as MC Frontalot, although he has entered only seven entries in that name. In one such song fight, entitled "Romantic Cheapskate", he likens Song Fight! to a neglected lover who favors him regardless of how he treats her.
