You can see all of the linked up quilts right here. Thank you so much for quilting along with me!! It's been so much fun.
I wonder - what are you looking for in a quilt-a-long? I'll take a break but I'd like to start something else up next spring or summer. I'm also coming up with some challenge ideas exclusively for the Facebook group. Thoughts?
Linking up to TGIFF, Crazy Mom Quilts, and Needle and Thread Thursday in celebration of all of your quilt finishes!
Quilt-A-Long Schedule
October 4: Winners announced << you are here!
What a fun QAL, Jess, thank you so much for hosting. It is a delight to get to see all the quilts here on display, too.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! This was such a fun QAL, thanks so much for hosting. I liked everything from the design and instruction to the pace and schedule. This parade is beautiful! Simply stunning! Thank you to the sponsors. Congratulations Jess and to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteSuch great quilts! All of them, just makes me thinking of making another one, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think i love challenges which get me out of my comfort zone a Little bit. With this QAL it was the color and the contrast toghether with a simple and well explained blockmaking. Thanks again for all your work you have put into it.
Congratulations everyone: those who won, and those who took part and didn't quite get there. Thank you Jessica for the organisation, the pattern and the nudge to look at colour and form differently. Perhaps a new QAL could be further towards improv - perhaps a simple block (eg HSTs, flying geese) made traditionally, but in various sizes. I found puzzling over the layout the most challenging in this project and would like to be further challenged along those lines.
ReplyDeleteThey are all fabulous! Congrats to all the winners! I'm still working on mine!
ReplyDeleteEvery quilt looks the same..........yet uniquely different, it's amazing. I love how your idea has given us a platform to explore color and layout possibilities!
ReplyDeleteCongrats everyone on such lovely finishes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts, all of them! It is so much fun to see everyone's take on the design.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic line-up of quilts! I love all the variety and non-rainbowy versions, too!
ReplyDeleteOh they are all so pretty! This was a fun QAL, and so glad to have participated. Congrats to the winners.
ReplyDeleteNeat! All these tops looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteAwwww ALL OF THESE ARE LOVELY
ReplyDeleteI cannot pick a favorite!
I wish I could have finished mine. Time has just stopped here.
I will finish it... because it is on the dining room table - all nestled comfy under the walking foot, with a few areas stitched. I am proud of me haha
I am so very happy I participated in this. I made a lot of progress and found some wonderful creative new friends.
Thank you so much for running such a fun QAL!
ReplyDeleteOne is more lovelier than the other.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work by all. I love all the colors, fabric combinations and different quilting styles. And the overall QAL was such fun...thank you again Jessica!
ReplyDeleteHope to join in another time, this looks so fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are all really wonderful! Even though I wasn't able to participate, I sure enjoyed seeing everyone's progress along the way!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great QAL- I was unable to participate but have been following along since the beginning. I can't get over how beautiful and different all the finished quilts are. Brava to you for planning and executing such a successful quilt along! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
