Thanks Very Very Very Much!
Hello there! Are you ready for sketch week over at the Pals Paper Arts? This week's sketch comes from Amy Lazzell, and it is a fun one. Grab your provisions, create something fun for your chance to be a PALS pick.
I knew that I wanted to use this sentiment from the Fabulous Four stamp set, and that I wanted to stamp it on shimmery white card stock. This shimmery white, is one of my favorites, and I literally hoard it. It was showcased in the new Occasions catalog, so I had to bring it out and show it off.
I have always loved melon mambo, basic black and whisper white together so I thought this would be a great color combo to go with this fabulous sketch.
Once again, my pretty petals DSP stack comes in handy for a great black and white print.
I needed a circle element, and I thought this double cut flower from the floral frames framelits would fit the bill nicely.
A sweet little butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set was stamped in black on vellum, then punched out with the matching butterfly punch. Some fun silver ribbon gives the butterfly a place to rest.
Since the butterfly is flying off the card, it would not mail well without squishing the ribbon, so it would be best to be hand given. The sweet shimmer of the card stock mixed with the silver and vellum, works very well together.
We would love to see what you create, so give it a shot, and link up your card or project. Challenges are a great way to be inspired or step out of your comfort zone.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
