If somebody just wants to sleep on me, I can't say no!
It was a little hot out for cuddling, but we had a nice breezy spot under a tree.

A Great Update
Gus got adopted! Remember Gus? (And his little buddy, Ricky?) He was at the shelter a long time (I know it was over a year, maybe closer to two), so it's great that he's finally found his furever home. Yay, Gus!!!
Happy Wordless Wednesday! Thanks to BlogPaws for hosting! You can check out all the blogs in the hop here.
Looks like he found his bliss.
ReplyDeleteEthel's favourite thing in the world is tummy rubs, too.

Yay for Gus!
ReplyDeleteWe often prefer cuddling over playing. So happy he found a home.
ReplyDeleteAww... he felt secure enough in your arms to really relax :-) Yay for the pups who found their new homes!
ReplyDeletethats so cute. I know what you mean about heat. Tuvok wants to sleep on top of me at night and last night I had to keep moving him, 90 plus heat even with AC is too hot for sleeping on top off

ReplyDeleteTo me, dogs seem to have much better sleeps than us humans. Harley and Jax are always smiling and sleeping so soundly during the night - I'm so jealous...

ReplyDeleteDogs seem to have better dreams than Hamlet had. :-)
ReplyDeleteEven when my dogs have active dreams they seem to be happily chasing squirrels.
Hehehe. I was thinking that - that the title's not a very happy reference. :) But yes, hopefully dogs have better dreams than Hamlet!
DeleteYay for Gus!

ReplyDeleteOh, that's adorable.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar experience this morning. I was trying to get a perfect snap of a cat for the blog I write for the local humane society, but this guy just wanted to sit in my lap instead of posing for the camera. So we did selfies instead :)

ReplyDeleteBelly rubs are the best!
ReplyDeleteYeah for Gus and Cuddle time! Glad you were able to find some shade and a breeze in SD! Not so much for us here in the Central Valley...
ReplyDeleteYay Gus! That dog looks so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteWell everyone needs a little loving sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear the good news about Gus. Hope he and his family are very happy.
