Ruby White Tips - Happy Hour Collection Part 1

Press Sample
*These Products are Cruelty Free

Tonight I have 3 polishes from the latest collection from Ruby White Tips - The Happy Hour Collection! I have the whole collection to show you over the next day or two also!

Ruby White Tips Happy Hour Collection

The three I"ll be showing you tonight are Pina Colada, Pink Sangria and Bay Breeze.

Here's what the maker had to say about these:

Pina ColadaThe first tropical drink I ever had was a Pina Colada. I think it was the brain freeze that mad me get such a headache from them! Never again. I still can't even drink Slurpee's because of it. The smell though....OMG It's heavenly! Pick a fruit, there's a bunch of the neon's in the white creamy base. It's a great color. No lumps totally smooth too! There's some purple, green, pink and blue squares in there. With some micro blue making the base look light blue, but it's not, it's white.

Sangria First time I ever had sangria.....What the hell is this fruit for? Then I took a sip and fell in love! If you've never had Sangria it's a red wine, with all sorts of fruit in it. It's got a ton of pure cane sugar in it too! It turns from a deep purple red wine color to a pinkish purple color. Kind of similar to this polish. Polish is red based, but turned hot magenta with purple foiled flakes! It's an amazing color!

Bay BreezeVodka, Cranberry and Pineapple! (Malibu Baybreeze is a close, just swap the vodka for it). My past life (before kids) I bartended. For a LONGgggggg time. Maybe that's why I like mixing polishes so much? I think I owe those reading this money for therapy...This color is really smooth. It's a teal base color with a hue of yellow, but not yellow. It's a really hard thing to explain.

Continued after the jump...

Serum No. 5 - Happy Special Day

Today I have another Serum No. 5 polish to show you - Happy Special Day!

Happy Special Day is a clear-based glitter polish with various sizes and colors of square and hex glitters. I layered two coats of this over Illamasqua Grab and a plain black creme so you could get a good look at the glitters. At first (the first coat) I got very few glitters out and I was worried that this was going to be another clear-based glitter that, while packed with glitters, was impossible to get out of, but the second coat proved fruitful. I had no issues with them spreading nicely and lying flat on the nail.In the last photo of it over black, there is one green square glitter that looks like it's really sticking up, but it wasn't. I used one generous coat of Poshe and it was perfectly smooth to the touch. So at least at this point it's reflective curl, but the larger square ones are the only ones I'd be worried about curling.

Jindie Nails Winter Chic - Battle Royale and Dream in Color

Good morning! This morning I have two of the six new polishes from the Winter Chic Collection from Jindie Nails to show you: Battle Royale and Dream in Color. I'll be showing you nine polishes over the next few days from Jindie Nails! I've already shown you quite a few polishes from this polish maker and I've been very happy with quality and amazing customer service. REMEMBER, you can use code pointlesscafe10 for a 10% discount when ordering!

Battle Royale is described as a beautiful royal blue jelly polish with color shifting shimmer that shifts from blue to purple to pink. It has turquoise, magenta, silver, deep purple, violet, lavender, periwinkle metallic and holo glitters and light pink, turquoise and magenta rare round dot metallic glitters throughout. I had no issues at all with application and it went on smooth, especially for how much glitter is packed in! I used only two coats (first one light and 2nd one heavier) for full opacity and one coat of Gelous to smooth everything out. Apologies for the mess I left. I really thought I didn't need clean up until I saw the photos. I'm not sure what happened!

Dream in Color is in a clear base and is described as small matte white, black, neon yellow, pink, neon green and neon blue glitters. This one can be worn alone in 3-4 coats but I used one coat layered over a green base for the photos. One coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. No issues to report at all with this one as it went on smoothly and evenly.

Nails Inc. Porchester Square with Warwick Street Special Effects!

Most of you know how I love my Nails Inc. so I never go for long without wearing it. Today I have Porchester Square and Warwick Street Special Effects.

Porchester Square is a great light muted mushroom creme with just an everso slight hint of a rosy undertone. Application was smooth and creamy and perfectly opaque in two easy coats. Some lighting brings out the grey and some brings out the taupe. LOVE!

Later, I layered on Warwick Street Special Effects. It can be worn on it's own (I estimate about 3 coats for 100% opacity if worn alone) but I almost always layer. Everything. Warwick Street is a milky cream base with small red, fuchsia, green, blue, silver and gold glitter pieces. Formula was perfect. Application was easy and quick. The glitter pieces suspend nicely in the base and you could go without a top coat and still have a smooth finish. I did use one coat of Poshe for the photos though. Loved it.

What do you think of these two?

Nails Inc. polishes are available in limited colors in the US at Sephora.com and a few other e-tailers. Unfortunately, the NailsInc.com site in the UK doesn't ship to the US...yet. Thankfully I have a few friends in the UK. =)
