Ninja Polish Nebula Swatches and Review

Good Morning! I have another real treat for you this morning - another new addition to Ninja Polish's Bling! Collection! Nebula.

Nebula is a fantastic color-shifting and holo glitter polish in a clear base. And it is WOW! It doesn't really matter much what you layer this over because it's really dense. You could wear it alone in probably 3 coats. But I layer all the time. I layer everything. And this is ONE coat over a couple of base colors. One coat of Poshe to make it perfectly smooth to the touch. No issues to report at all.

Here's what Ninja Polish had to say about Nebula:

This polish contains fine holographic and multichromatic glitters to give you an amazing effect. The glitters are in a clear base and look good by themselves with a few coats or over black. This polish looks great in regular lighting and explodes in holographic goodness in the sun.

4-free, Vegan and Cruelty free 15ml bottle.

Here she is over black...

Okay, please don't judge me - I debated putting this next one in the post because it's a horrible photo and so blurry BUT I wasn't able to get any other photos of THIS color shift so I'm including it just so you can see the extra color shift...it's all about letting you guys see the polish as it is the best way I can and if putting in a crappy photo of something important does that, I have to swallow my pride and just do it. LOL!

Ninja Polish Nebula

What do you think of this one? It is so blingy and the color shifts are amazing! I got blue, teal, aqua, purple, berry and gold that I've seen so far.

Nebula, as well as other Ninja Polishes, is available at Ninja Polish and it retails for $9.00 for a full 15mL bottle. You can also follow Ninja Polish on Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date on re-stock information, see swatches and participate in giveaways

Ninja Polish Strawberries 'n Roses - Swatches and Review

Good evening! Tonight I have a new one from Ninja Polish to show you: Strawberries 'n Roses.

Strawberries 'n Roses is part of their Bling! Collection and it's an extremely sparkly pink/magenta/holo glitter polish that has to be seen in person for the full effect but in spite of that I DO have quite a few photos to show you. This one can be worn alone (3 coats - you will see it that way as as accent nail in some of the photos) but I prefer to layer it. I used one coat over Chanel Accessoire with the accent nail of it alone and then I layered one coat over Pure Ice Monte Carlo - a coordinating jelly polish. One coat of Poshe on both manis. No issues to report with application or formula.

This is what Ninja Polish had to say about Strawberries 'n Roses:

...contains fine rose colored pink glitters as well as highlights of holographic gold. The hint of gold in this pink polish gives an amazingly unique look. The glitters are in a clear base and cover fully in approximately 3 coats. This polish looks great in regular lighting and explodes in holographic goodness in the sun.

4-free, Vegan and Cruelty free 15ml bottle.

First, over Chanel Accessoire with 3 coats alone as an accent nail...

What do you think of this one? It is so blingy I can't even think of a word for it!

Laquerlicious Strawberry Cosmo - Swatches and Review

Good Sunday Morning!

This morning I have a new-to-me indie polish to show you. Laquerlicious is a hand-poured nail polish brand started in August 2012 by Michelle. Michelle has been a manicurist for 18 years and finally decided to start creating her own nail polish. And yes, she left the C out of Laquerlicious on purpose. *grin* All Laquerlicious polishes are B3-Free.

The one I'll be showing you this morning is Strawberry Cosmo. This one is a magenta holographic glitter that is one of those true sparklebombs that is nearly impossible to capture. There are also some medium hex glitters scattered throughout that just randomly appear on the nail giving it even more visual interest. This polish was opaque in two coats and surprisingly was completely smooth to the touch with one coat of Poshe. I didn't have any trouble at all with application. The formula appears to be pure suspension base.

What do you think of this one? It is SO much more sparkly than I could capture.

Laquerlicious polishes can be purchased through her Etsy Store here or her Big Cartel Store here and retail for $8.50 for full-sized bottles. You can also follow her on Instagram under Creativenailchick or on Twitter @NailChickMich.

Orly Miss Conduct - Swatches and Review

Friday!  Woot Woot!

Today I have Orly Miss Conduct for you thanks to the amazing Sandy over at Dandy-Nails.com and her RAOK (Random Act of Kindness) - Thanks so much Sandy, I love it!

Miss Conduct is from the Orly Naughty and Nice Holiday 2012 Collection. It's a lovely magenta/berry scattered holo polish. It looked a little thin, but when I started applying it, it was nicely pigmented and covered fully in two easy coats. No issues at ALL. It dries shiny, too! No top coat for the photos.

Mr. Murphy - 100 pounds of pure love

What do you think of this one? I love berry colors so naturally I LOVE it. I haven't tried any of the others from this holiday collection yet.

Orly polishes are widely available in the US and generally retail for $5 - $8.

Ninja Polish Bling Collection 2012

Good morning! How about we start the day with some BLING?

Ninja Polish has just recently released their Bling Collection, consisting of 3 blingtastic glitter polishes: Caribbean Reef, Eye Candy and Sexy & I Know It. (Anyone else picturing an M&M and singing that song in their heads? No? Just me? Oh well.)

Before we get to the "real" swatches...here are a few I took when I first opened them. I couldn't wait to see them so I layered them over the polish I was wearing, Nails Inc. Clifford Street...

First up, Caribbean Reef. This one is fine holographic aqua blue glitters in a clear base and I'm not sure there's really any way to capture how sparkly these polishes are in a photo. I've layered it over Sinful Colors Savage. This one, like the other 2 in this collection, can be worn alone - estimate 3 - 4 coats. I've used 2 coats and one coat of Poshe. These are not top coat hungry and one coat of Poshe smoothed them out perfectly. The last photo of this one shows the accent finger matted.

Next we have Eye Candy. This one is fine holographic and multi-chrome glitters in a clear base. Again, impossible to capture in a photo. This one actually reminded me of Mardi Gras because of the gold and purple. So festive! No issues with application. Went on smoothly - 2 coats of glitter over a black creme base.  One coat of Poshe.

And finally, Sexy & I Know It. This one is fine pink and blue holographic glitters in a clear base. I've layered 2 coats over a base of Nails Inc. Bluebelle and followed with one coat of Poshe to make it totally smooth to the touch. Same formula and application as the other two. No issues at all.

So what do you think?  Which is your favorite?

Ninja Polishes, including the Bling Collection, can be purchased at their website here and retail for $9.00 each. You can also follow Ninja Polish on Facebook here and Twitter here to stay in the loop! And a little birdie tells me there will be more Bling polishes added to this collection in the future.
