The base for this accent nail is No Taming My Twinkle by
Artistic Nail Design, and
I've reviewed it here. It makes the perfect sparkly background for a winter scene like this, like a starry sky! I painted the scenery with acrylic paint and the Berry Wine brush set from

The silver is from this cool kit I've gotten the honor of trying. It's the
Chrome Mirror Powder kit from EZ Dip Nails and it came with... hold your breath... a regular air drying top coat that is suitable for use with chrome pigment powders! (OK you can breathe now!) I'm really happy with this stuff because it makes all those gorgeous chrome nails possible without a UV lamp! It works as easy as applying the 'Top Pure' top coat, letting it dry, rubbing some powder on it until it's smooth and shiny, and then applying another coat of the Top Pure!
