Unhappy Ignition Switch Plug Wire Layout - 87 944 NA

Does anyone know the wire order for a 1987 944 N/A's ignition switch plug?

To make an emotionally painful story short - Being a moron, I disconnected the circular plug from the back of the ignition swich and pulled the cover off to inspect it. This caused the wires to go free, despite my best efforts to keep them in order.

My question is - Does anyone know the order in which the wires go, inside the circular black plug?

For starters, I think pin 50 is the heavier red/black wire.

Don't know since I've never taken mine apart, but here is a pinout, hopefully it'll get you going until someone else can chime in....

Thumbs up Thank you.

First of all - thank you both for the great info. You have just made my life a heck of a lot easier.

I was looking at the switch in that same electrical diagram, but now I know I've been looking at the right thing. Being upside down and under the dash, having a photo for reference is exactly what I needed.

Thanks again.

problem solved.

I just wanted to let you all know that I got the ignition connector back exactly as it was before I had my moronic fit.

Thanks again for the help.
