You'll notice most of the tasks are quite simplistic ones (e.g. see a movie) but that's the whole point. Checking off tasks on a to-do list releases happy endorphins, for me at the very least, so I wanted to make them all achievable. I started this list on the 12th of February which leaves me until the 12th of February 2017 to get them all done. Some of them also belong to my 1001 in 101 days list. I've also tried to ensure that the tasks cover my career, personal life and blog life and it was fun thinking of small, simple but also slightly challenging things to add to the list!
Please excuse the rough nature of my list - it perhaps shows how short term this 'challenge' is meant to be :)
Are you tempted to do something like this? :)
Angela, I may do this too! I have been religiously keeping a work to do list and it's really helped me be more productive and kept me motivated in my 9-5 admin job, so this might be what I need in my personal life too. I love the feeling of ticking off things :)

I really like this idea! I attempted the 101 in 1001 days but the timeline was just too long to stay focused on it and some of my goals were just too ambitious. I like the idea of shorter timeline with tasks like "see a movie." Checking things off a list always feels so great so I might have to try this!
ReplyDeleteThis is actually a really good idea and something that I'd really be interested in doing but I feel as though I'd need to write the list as I go alone as I cannot think of a massive amount of things off the top of my head like that. A great idea nonetheless! I love ticking things off lists that I have made though, but I didn't really it released happy endorphins (the more you know) - maybe that's why I feel a sense of achievement every time I do :) I sometimes even write things on lists that I have already done just so I can cross them off, ha!

Love this idea-thinking of a list after seeing yours. What notebook is in the photo?
ReplyDeleteI am going to steal this idea! I am doing the 101 in 1001 project and enjoying it, but my goals are quite hard work and will take time. Having some quick or fun goals is a great idea.
