Hi Friends! Meredith here with a super fun project to share! First off, I will tell you that I was inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire who did this on her blog a few weeks ago (genius!). I used the adorable Moosing You set and my colored pencils (Prismacolor) to create this ornament.
I first stamped my image using Hero Arts black dye ink. I colored it in with my Prismacolor pencils and then added some Flowersoft to ground the image and to add texture.
I made a ton of these using different stamps to hang on our tree and to add as gift tags to wrapped gifts!
Thanks so much for joining me today!

TAWS post #53 - Welcome Home!
Hi Friends! Today I have a project I made using The Alley Way's Moosing You and Express Yourself sets. I watercolored the moose and added lots of fun mix and match papers for a layered look. I stitched around all of my panels and added my sentiment using Hero Arts black dye ink. I wrapped some black and white baker's twine and added some enamel heart stickers for a little extra texture touch.
I sent this off to my brother and his wife as they've just returned from their honeymoon! (she loves Moose!!)
Thanks for coming by today!
See you soon!

TAWS post #14 - Moosing You!
Greetings TAWS friends! I'm here today bringing you a thank you note that I made recently for a friend. I used the moose from the newest set "Moosing You" and I watercolored my image using my Distress Markers.
I chose a sketch from MFT (love their sketches) and picked some papers that went together to pull this eclectic grouping together. I used some very luscious ribbon from a Studio Calico kit to create a big fluffy bow, a piece of flair (also from and SC kit), some washi tape and stitching to pull it all together.
I cut the banners in the center using my Jumbo Fishtail Flag Stax from MFT. (they are a MUST HAVE in your crafty arsenal)
Thanks so much for popping by today!
Warmly-

TAWS post #13 - Hugs!
Hi Friends!! Today I've put together a mish mashy (my favorite) grouping of papers. In my mind the designs and colors "go" they don't "match". There's definitely a difference! I watercolored the cute little squirrel from the newly released set Stumped. I then used my MFT Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics to add my main panel to the card.
I added a bunch of stitching and some fun hot coral grosgrain ribbon to the center for a contrast of color and a few enamel dots. I purposefully left the strings dangling from my stitched panels as I feel it adds a fun touch. I used the new mini set Moosing You for my sentiment 'HUGS'. This set is free this month with a $40 in product purchase. This little guy makes me happy! Thanks for coming by today!

TAWS post #11 - Hugs - A Vellum Shaker Card
Greetings Friends! Here with you on this snowy Monday to bring you my latest TAWS creation! Today I made a shaker card using vellum. I cut my vellum and inked the birch trees from the newly released set Branching Out using Unicorn White Pigment ink. I then heat set them using white embossing powder.
I added sequins and gold glitter inside my shaker card and as you can see I used a tiny bit too much tape runner to temporarily hold my vellum in place before sewing and the gold glitter has gathered and stuck there but I'm really ok with it! I'll know better next time. My sentiment 'hugs' is from this month's Free With $40 in product mini-set Moosing You. I used MFT's Let It Snowflake Die-namics to cut out the snowflakes - some out of glitter paper and others out of kraft cardstock which I then coated in Versamark Ink and heat set using Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
I added a button/twine treatment in the lower left to balance my creation. I hope you enjoy and thanks for coming by today!

TAWS post # 9 - Love Birds
Greetings TAWS friends! So glad to be with you after a wonderful weekend with the new release! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!! Don't forget you can get all of the new goodies right here!
Today my creation is very CAS. I used a T-ruler to make a light pencil line where I wanted my birds and then I stamped the birds from the new set Branching Out repeatedly on the "wire". Once I had my birds lined up I used a Copic multiliner to trace over my pencil line.
I stamped the heart from the Stumped set in between the two red birds and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I did this step 3 times to give the heart a puffy look. I learned this trick from Kristina Werner in a video she did quite some time ago. I then added my sentiment from the Moosing You set - which is free this month with your order of $40 or more! I finished the card off with a few scattered sequins and some stitching detail around the perimeter.
Thanks for swinging by today!
