Pretty Good Privacy What is PGP? PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is a Public Key Encryption system. A public key encryption system allows you to publish a public key such that anyone can send you secure messages using your public key that only you can decrypt. Where can I get PGP? PGP can be downloaded from any of the following sources. GNU Privacy Guard GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG) is a complete and free replacement for PGP. Because it does not use IDEA or RSA it can be used for both personal and commercial use without restriction. GnuPG can be downloaded from www.gnupg.org. Personal PGP If you are a US citizen located in the US or a Canadian citizen located in Canada, you can download the freeware version of PGP from MIT. Commercial PGP Commercial versions of PGP can be purchased from PGP Corporation. International PGP If you are outside the US, you can download the international freeware version of PGP from The International PGP Home Page. Make It Public Once you have created your public key, mail it to support@nullstone.com so that we can add it to our key ring. (Your public key should look something like this example.) We will use your public key to encrypt the NULLSTONE sources. Then, you can download NULLSTONE releases at your convienience, and decrypt the source file using your own matching secret key and password.
