Trump's plan for the auto industry

The mainstream media is blasting Trump as insulting Detroit while in Detroit. That's not what happened.  He talked about the unfortunate deterioration of Detroit while in Detroit.  He was speaking facts.  In addition he laid out a plan to bring Detroit and the United States back into being a manufacturing powerhouse.  He talked about the auto industry specifically.

When you contrast that with the absolute decimation the half-baked plan Kamala Harris is spewing, there really is only one choice for president; Donald Trump.

An interesting take on China (part 1 of 2)

Geopop's Peter Zeihan discusses how we are at the beginning of the end for China in many important ways:

While I agree that China has it's own demographic and geopolitical challenges, they are not alone, so a fall, even if it is precipitous, would be relative to the challenges faced by other countries, including the U.S.  I think their ebb in power will not be so quick, even though it has already started.

Manufacturing in America, A Visual

Manufacturing in America is critical to it's future.  To understand some of the key facts about it, click the infographic to enlarge it.  I'd provide you the link to the source, but it's a liberal site and in fact this page is an AFL-CIO enabled page. But that isn't to say they aren't right about this issue.

It also brings to mind another question - if the idea that everyone should own a home led to the mortgage meltdown and banking collapse and Great Recession of 2007-2008, then what is the eventual outcome of an education bubble where everyone is targeting an MBA and no one is being trained to be in manufacturing and actually doing work.  A nation of all managers has the same problem as a company with too many VPs and not enough workers; it's top heavy.

Let's start connecting dots

Actual sign (of the times).
President Bush's pretend border fence was apparently too much for liberals. Meanwhile illegal immigration is rampant. Forget the liberal agenda for a minute, let's think about what's going on with the bigger picture. The bigger picture involves more than just immigration.  It involves the economy.  The two issues do not exist in respective vacuums - they are interrelated.

China Crisis - Part 2

Not convincing, just scary;

This is not as scary, just infuriating;

And this is unsurprising - manufacturing down in China just like in the U.S., and a difficult recession ahead world-wide.

And the meltdown is possible;

And maybe the growth in China isn't altogether real;
