- Yep, it’s coming.Aug. 15, 2023
Give in or cash out? That’s the dilemma at the center of Too Hot to Handle.
Luckily, there’s no shortage of eligible singles willing to put a price on their libido, so lace up those bikinis because Season 5 launches on July 14. Of course, this new batch of men and women once again think they’ve signed up for a completely different and totally fake dating show where their naughtiest desires can run free.
Ultimately, their minds (and absolutely nothing else) will be blown once they learn that at a robot’s request, they’ll have to build emotional connections and avoid all physical intimacy in order to have a chance at taking home the cash prize.

Who’s still together after Too Hot to Handle Season 5 filming?
🤐 SPOILER ALERT 🤐
Below, the group tells Tudum how they feel the experience impacted their approach to physical intimacy and dating. And for more tea, check out the video above to find out who’s still dating and who’s single.
Alex: “You wouldn’t believe the transformation after the show. Before, I was like a bull charging at a red flag when it came to intimacy. Zero chill. But now, thanks to the experiment, I’ve become the Zen master at dating. It used to be about, “Swipe right, let’s go,” but now I’m like, “Hold up, let’s have a two hour conversation about your favorite conspiracy theory before we even think about holding hands.” So who knew that Lana’s virtual glare could become my conscience? Mad. So my approach to intimacy has been like diffusing a bomb — slow and steady. […] It’s all about those meaningful connections — what’s life, without that? And let’s be honest, exchanging deep secrets before swapping spit is the new black anyway.”
Christine: “I didn’t expect an experience like this to have changed my physical intimacy and dating life, however, Lana if you’re listening, i’ll tell you right now, you owe me a date. Because I actually learned from the retreat and I’ve gone nine months without having sex. So that’s definitely something to celebrate. I’ve learned so much about myself.”
Courtney: “I definitely take things a lot slower when it comes to dating and I also kind of keep my cards close to my chest when it comes to what I prefer from someone in an intimate manner. There’s something to say about being a mystery. It’s a lot better that way.”
Elys: “I definitely have learned to not go straight for looks and maybe not be so intimate at first and get to know someone more. But I’m not going to sit here and lie and say that I don’t look at someone’s physical appearance because I do. I’m young, I’m still very horny. But to be fair, I’ve still always gone for someone with a banging personality as well as being very good looking. I mean, you need chemistry.”
Hannah: “At some point I’m going to have to get married. I want to get married. I’m excited to get married. But to do that, you have to be willing to commit to one person. So, with that being said, I’m definitely willing to commit to one person. Lana, what have you done? You’ve changed me.”
Hunter: “The experiment really made me stop and think. Physical beauty is one thing — but if you get down to the nitty gritty, we’re all going to get old one day. It made me really think about what’s behind the curtain. Is there more to them that meets the eye? And the retreat really helped me be aware of that.”
Linzy: “Before going on the retreat, I had this image of myself of being so emotionally unavailable, not being able to open up to people, being so closed off. I had this constant fear that I wouldn’t get to know anybody and wouldn’t be able to open up. But I learned that I can and I was being really hard on myself. It showed me that I can be soft, vulnerable, can open up, can put myself out there and can build not just relationships, but friendships. And I’m so thankful for that.”
Louis: “The experience really helped me get in touch with my emotions, and stop being a menace and a player in the outside world. When it comes to actually meeting girls and linking up and dating, it’s not just about the physical touch and one-night stands, but actually about getting to know them and the vibe we have, and if we’re actually suitable for each other. So Lana, thank you.”
Megan: “Since the retreat, I have learned that if a guy doesn’t like me, that’s on them and not on me. I will never be the second choice or the side dish — I am no garlic bread.”
Trey: “The biggest lessons I took were from the workshops. They break down your perspective and make you see other people’s points of view. In doing so, you can get to the issue and also [explore] what’s going on with yourself. Bonding with people in a setting where you can just talk — no phones, just other people not only has affected the way that I look at relationships, but also relationships with friends. We have so many distractions, and being in the retreat was an opportunity to focus on yourself and meet some beautiful women and some really dope dudes.”
Yaz: “My experience really made me look at relationships differently. I’m no longer a fuck girl, I’m in my lover girl era. I’m a wifey — at least I act like one. I’m definitely taking what Lana said and what the workshops taught me in my relationship now. I’m more patient and I can handle conflicts a lot better.”
