Disney's Frozen and it's iconic song that is "Let It Go", has been actively known for the past 10 years now! So what not celebrate it with a parody, an immersive parody experience of an enchanted evening with cocktails and appetizers! This was "An Enchanted Evening! Immersive Frozen Parody Cocktail Experience", a grown-up fairy tale experience like no other! Live entertaining provided by the one and only Frozen sisters Anna and Elsa, with specialty cocktails, paired appetizers and much more. Having taking place at the Hampton Inn in Burbank, California, in one of the small conference rooms, this set up was chilling to the core!

Taking place across several weekends throughout the month of March, grabbing tickets for the last weekend, Saturday night's March 23rd festivities, a crowd of adults, it being a 21 and over only event, gathered in the lobby, entering the room later than expected. As the Frozen sisters were "Sobering up" beforehand, the guests were welcomed in a little after 8PM as opposed to it's 7:45PM start time.

After getting everybody seated around the rectangle table arrangement, with sparking lights, snowy table clothes, decor, and snowy effects, the show was split in 3 acts. Act one had the opening of Coronation Day, where Anna was awoken by the castle loud speaker, and Elsa came in shortly after, to tell her that it was Coronation Day, except not for the two Queen's but for someone else altogether this time around....

During the first act the sisters would sing a parody of the Frozen song "For the First Time in Forever" and "Do you want to Build a Snowman?" with other pop songs mixed in-between. This act was a flurry of snow good time. The second act featured the sisters Anna in her coronation attire, with Elsa also in her best dress, with them performing more songs pop and Frozen related. With the last and final third act being a closure with the pair singing some more pop songs, Disney songs, and Frozen songs like "Into the Unknown", "Let It Go", "Some Things Never Change", among others.

Fog, lighting, it was all filled with such fun, excitement, and highly entertaining throughout really. The crowned guest turned out to be one who was there celebrating a BDay, she was given the crown this fine evening, but as it would turn out that all the guests present would be crowned with crowns tonight! Everyone was enthralled and overjoyed, sharing laughs, drinks, and food, with a dessert of a cotton candy crashed iced find that was flavorful. The guests were given gift bags with some minor goodies like candies, snowman ball, carrot, and bubbles which were blown throughout the performance!

All in all though, this event provided by The Wisteria Theater Company, was a gathering of sorts, unlike any other. So much fun, entertainment, and utter joy, that no one was stopped from singing along, dancing, clapping, and just having one very good time after the other, this entire evening performance. Surely more events such as this one, is to be expected and perhaps be even better. But this one was one to be Frozen over for regardless.

Disney's Aladdin, another one of many Disney brands that received the treatment to which was a musical. Except in Aladdin's case there were two variations of the musical based off the animated Disney classic film. The first incarnation was a Broadway style show held at the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land at Disney's California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California. This show being titled "Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular", running from 2003 through 2016, where it's final show would be held in January of 2016, being replaced by another musical stage show that would be inspired by Disney's 2013 animated film known as Frozen that launched in the summer of 2016 and has been there ever since Aladdin's departure.

After the theme park version of Aladdin had run its course, Aladdin would take on the musical showcase once more in the form of Broadway among other instances give or take, doing a trail run, to quite a buzzing response. That said, the show would then go on to hit the road on the form of a tour, across the North American terrain, hitting of course Los Angeles, California with its stop in Hollywood's most notorious theater the Pantages Theater. It running from January through March of 2018, a short run but a run nonetheless! This goes into saying that this showcase was so much more different in comparisons to the film and the version from Disney's California Adventure park as well. Some characters known by fans did not make appearances at all, but were excluded from the show or replaced by others altogether to make room for newer characters to shine. Other changes or differences would be little things where certain scenes from the film would play out much different in this stage show version being a nice addition more or less.

In term's the production, crew, and cast and the music though, everything done at the Pantages Theater was as always splendidly, everyone doing their part, showing it their all in all counts. The music done live with a orchestra in presents, did a great job, just as the cast had done, singing with all they got, giving all the classic's including new songs as well, best possibilities through and through. Surely this showcase was one to be remembered, for all that it is worth, because everyone there did such a great job, it made the whole production just magical.

As for the show in general, it was done quite well, the crowd's reaction's to the jokes and one liner's made points, while songs sung were applauded with not just applause but cheers as well. Everyone there in this sold out showcase, was smiling ear to ear with glee!

All in all, a well done performance that did the Pantages Theater really good. Disney's Aladdin no matter the version you see, is a take on its own vision of what it is meant to be, simply and purely magic.

It's odd, how when your browsing online for one thing, you come across another thing that totally was unexpected. But with the internet nowadays that is on average what typically tends to happen every now and again. In this case in particular it was a night in question of it happening to me, while online coming across an up-and-coming events website showcasing in and around the terrains of the Los Angeles and Orange County area's various events. One of which was of a musical stage show of Disney's variation of The Little Mermaid. Indeed so, this was a Broadway stage show done by Disney but only for a limited time, for it would not go on from that point in time, but have other reincarnations.

Yes the classic tale of merfolk, one mermaid named Ariel with hair of red, known by many, if not all, beloved as one of the many Princess's of the Disney Princess line. Thus forth, this stage production was down in of all places, North Hollywood, California, in a small theater spot known as the Cupcake Studios. A true hole in the wall, type of place, with a mere case of 10-12 rows of chairs, going along the aisle, as the stage was quite small, the outer theater holding a will call check in point, with concessions right next store. The lobby holding those in waiting, as others were checked in, buying refreshments, or using the facilities as it seemed fit.

This night was the one weekend prior to the one lastly, for this show was held on Saturday night's 8 o'clock showing, where the audience was loud and proud to be present. Everyone from all ages in the house, taking their seats, waiting for the lights to go dim as they did a little after 8PM, as the next hour was filled with classic Disney hits, "Part of Your World", "Poor Unfortunate Souls", and "Under the Sea". As well as other songs taken from the original Broadway recording. The cast and crew with live band provided as well, all doing a rather splendid job through and through. Especially the leading lady playing the lead role of Ariel, sounding very much like the original actress who portrayed her in the classic 90's flick.

During the brief 15 minute intermission, the audience was ushered out of the theater as the stage was changed from act one to act two's settings, everyone freshening up as it were, stretching their limbs, to using the facilities, once more, before re-entering the theater, taking in their seats again for the second act to behold of the next hour. This of course being precisely what happened next.

The second act of the theater performance being just as superb as the first act. Except minor changes were thrown into the mix, as the original ending in the film, showcased a boat fight scene, as the stage show version did not do this, but had a different ending altogether. This not being a disappointment, but more of a delightful change of pace, it brought on a new light to the classic tale.

Nevertheless, it was a stage show production with pure talent from beginning to end. All that was involved both live on stage to behind the scenes provided a well thought out show, with such great talent, that it brought this production value in question. So much so in fact, that this level  of performers, brought to that of the one's known for other shows that can be seen on the likes of

Broadway or even the Pantages Theater leveling of achievement and success.
The Little Mermaid's Musical rendition that was held at the Cupcake Theater out in North Hollywood, California, was surely one of the best, if not greatest additions to the musical theater atmosphere. Being one to not miss, but one to jump in on!

TOKYOPOP and Disney have teamed up to release a series of manga based books, Japanese comic books, for numerous brands, characters, and what not. This being their take on the Disney Fairies branding that had a spin off series of films, toys, appeal, and other merchandise, all revolving around that spunk little fairy Tinkerbell! Indeed so Tinkerbell and her fairy friends return in an all new formula, since their departure from the film series of the Disney Fairies branding, releasing one television special with six films. Tinkerbell released in 2008, with Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure released in 2009, Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue in 2010, Secret of the Wings in 2012, The Pirate Fairy in 2014, with Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast in 2015.

The television special being Pixie Hollow Games in 2011. Out of the film and TV spin off special, the Disney Fairies was quite in demand and popular at the time of release back then, including at the theme parks of Disney as well. So with the film end of the series ending after the last film in 2015. There was another outlet to be had, in the way of books, but comic books, in the shape of the anime manga books. Japanese cultured based material highly yet very popular in all markets of the world as it would go.

TOKYOPOP and Disney taking the Disney Fairies branding creating a manga series, with numerous volumes' including Disney Fairies Vidia and the Fairy Crown, Disney Fairies Tinkerbell's Secret, and Disney Fairies The Petite Fairy's Diary.

The first volume of the Disney Fairies manga being "Vidia and the Fairy Crown", depicts the tale of when Queen Clarion's crown goes missing, on one of the night's of Pixie Hollow's biggest events ever, who is to blame well Vidia! As she is one of the meanest, rudest, uptight fairies around. So while the fingers are pointed at her, is it really on her wings? Vidia must fly on an adventure trying to hunt down the crown, as her all over Never Land, trying to find it in time to save her own reputation of being mean to perhaps good? That is what the story, goes into details about, as the art style is very fluid, vivid really, seeing the fairies in the film series, turned a whole another art style for this manga series, is something else. It is as if the characters literally fly off the pages, as you read through the story. The art being so creative and unique, it keeps the read and story at hand, very interesting and genuine too. It is a story with lots of fun, outgoing, yet clever incidents that Vidia faces while on her journey of finding the crown of Queen Clarion.

The next volume in the Disney Fairies manga series is titled "Tinkerbell's Secret" it shows off another part of the story, that was not shown in the films, unless you count Peter Pan I and II of course. But in the Disney Fairies aspect, this story brings in Peter Pan and the Lost Boys for sort of the first time. The actual story of how Tinkerbell and the boys met has yet to be told from Disney, but she has been shown with the boys in various points, including this story here. As this one shows Tinkerbell getting to fix the bath tub of Queen Lee, one of the most biggest honor any tinker fairy could get from somefairy. But Tinkerbell ends up losing her magical hammer, she uses to tinker things with, so she cannot fix what needs to be fixed until it is found. So she must go where she likely lost the hammer, in of all places Peter Pan's secret hideaway. After losing the hammer she has also lost something more precious to her, her ability to tinker! Looking for the hammer while not getting cauhgt by Peter or the Lost Boys is quite difficult, but during your daring read, you are just taken a back at by how the art style is just drawn out. Cannot stress that enough, of how the art is pulls you into the story even more. Seeing the characters you have known in one way, seeing them in this new way is just thrilling and just as exciting as this tale is really. The story is gripping and fun through and through though, lots of laughs, scares, and moments you will recall right after for sure.

On the next volume of adventure, comes "Disney Faries The Petite Fairy's Diary", has a tale about one of the smallest fairies to ever live in Never Land named Petite. As she keeps a diary of her life upon Pixie Hollow and Never Land as well. Her getting to celebrate the anniversary of her 777th full moon, the day of the fairy's birth, but Petite has yet to know of discovering her special skill as a fairy! Petite ends up trying at everything possible within Pixie Hollow, sadly failing at everything. But she does prove to those who know her that she is there to help in their time of need. Her friend an intrepid named Dill, helping her find her talent just in time, but what is the talent in question, only time will tell for certain. As the story leading up to that moment is truly exciting for each turn of the page.

Yet just another one of those fun filled adventures of a read. The artistic styling of the characters just being so beautiful and fluid, of a read through. The way the art showcases how these characters interact and move within the pages, and storytelling is so moving. The art done in manga is just so capturing to the eye, you feel lots of emotions soaring through, as you read onward with each of these volumes' in this telling tale.

Thus, with that the Disney Fairies manga based series, is just as compelling as the film and TV special. It brings back all your favorite characters, as well as all new ones to enjoy and take in their stories to be told. If you are a fan of fairies and Tinkerbell, then this is a must read for you. Disney continuing to do well, in keep the magic, wisdom, and wonder alive and well.

Tokyopop or styled TOKYOPOP was formerly known as Mixx Entertainment, in other words, this company was an American distributor, licensor, and publisher of anime, manga, manhwa, and Western style manga works, so Japanese cultured material. Or in simpler terms Japanese comic books, except these titled as manga using the Japanese art style called anime. So of course with a company now known as TOKYOPOP, they have gone on to release numerous titles, networking with various companies including most famous and popular around Disney!

Indeed so Disney and TOKYOPOP have networked together to release titles over the years, including take on the rights of a recent Disney property called Disney Descendants, a musical fantasy television film that was directed as well as choreographed by Kenny Ortega, most famous for his classic 90's Disney film Hocus Pocus! This time around Kenny Ortega went in with Disney once more to create this fantasy musical film that is Descendants, a 2015 film centering around the son's and daughter's of the beloved Disney villains, heroes, and then some. Since its debut it has since had a sequel Descendants 2, two soundtracks, along with assorted merchandise, ranging from appeal, toys, and books! Which brings us right back to TOKYOPOP and Disney's manga collab as they have taken the Descendants branding creating an anime manga title of volumes for this series.

The Disney Descendants manga was first introduced upon the 2017 edition of Free Comic Book Day, handed out at various comic locations, as a free sampler, with the first chapter of the manga series, this showing off what the story was, and how the art style would look, following the official manga release a short while later with its first volume with volume number two following later on that year. But this series is not just two volumes for a trilogy of volumes', a three part series simply titled "Descendants The Rotten to the Core" trilogy.

The first volume in the manga series focus upon the beginning of the first film Descendants, showcasing the villain kids, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos, Mal being the daughter of Maleficent, Evie daughter of the Evil Queen, Jay son of Jafar, with Carlos being the son of Cruella De Vil. As these teens adjust to the life outside of their island prison the Isle of the Lost. As the four are invited to attend the school of Auradon Prep, which is the school of the teenagers of the Disney Princess's, Princes' and more Disney characters of the Disney realm.

As the volume one continues on with the storyline taken from the film, it follows the villain kids, as they plot together an evil scheme, trying to steal the Fairy Godmother's wand to use for their own deeds. But as they are toured around the campus, they get introduced to the teens of Disney's most famous heroes Ben, Audrey, Jane, and Chad. After a fruitless attempt at stealing the wand, they are forced to try to live out their double lifestyle within the school they now call home, thinking up more ways to get their plan to work in their favor.

That is how the first volume plays itself out. Whereas the second volume picks up right where the first left off. As the story continues the villain kids, continue to attend Auradon Prep, still trying to carry out the evil plan that their villainous parents gave for them to fulfill. But as they adjust to their life's at the school, things begin to change, and start to happen, as perhaps the teens of evil are starting to turn to good? There is no telling as to which way the story will lead come the third volume of this trilogy series of the Descendants manga! If you have seen the film first or two then you likely know how it plays out in this form, but reading it in this format is so much more compelling as it were. It is like you are seeing the film and story in a whole new way, showing the beloved characters of good and evil in an all new light of good and evil. The artistic direction of the characters just flies off the pages, while the interactions is chalk full of funny moments, with even funnier expressions. The story is again the same but told in a different way, with art style's that are so gripping and attractive. You just cannot look away from how vivid the styling is to the eyes. It is one of those manga series books that will have you not wanting to stop reading!

It's how this trilogy series plays out really. The art style being real focus besides the storyline. The way the characters work in this new fashion, is just so comforting, it makes the story much more fun and alive. You are literally taken into a whole another realm of sorts, that will have you embrace the characters more, in a whole another way, as said before.

Disney's Descendants series in both manga and as a standalone series, continues to showcase what it can do, as its own branding, having numerous spin offs with various incarnations that will keep you wanting so much more. It is that type of story, with such funny characters, creative story, with a telling of a tale, that must be read to be told. If you were not one to part take in enjoying manga, then this is one you need to cast yourself into, you shall not regret it.
