Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Holli (Schell) McDiffitt
As a West Virginia native, Dr. McDiffitt was fortunate enough to grow up on a small hobby farm which allowed her to develop her passion for animals. Early in life she became active in 4-H, FFA, and the Wetzel Co. Livestock Club. Upon graduating high school, Dr. McDiffitt attended West Virginia University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Medicine. During her time at WVU, Dr. McDiffitt was involved with many things at the University’s Farm including calf/lamb watch, but her favorite memories include being a member of the WVU Livestock Judging Team, where to this day they are one of the most decorated teams in school history.
Dr. McDiffitt attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and then completed her clinical studies at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with high honors. While on St. Kitts, Dr. McDiffitt held a position in the student chapter of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians in which she strived to help promote better medicine and increased production within the swine industry on the island. She worked closely with the local farmers and helped educate them on modern husbandry and animal welfare.
When Dr. McDiffitt has free time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, traveling, riding her horses & ATVs, as well as spending time with her husband, Anthony, family, and friends. Dr. McDiffitt is excited to be home and working at the very clinic that ignited and supported her passion to pursue this career. Her goal is to provide high quality medicine for livestock and companion animals to the surrounding areas.
