Unfortunately, sometimes even just clearing your throat can cause Siri to interrupt itself and then start listening again as it misinterprets this sound and assumes that you have something else to say to the assistant. While there's currently no option to disable this feature you can force Siri to stop listening for a follow-up response. Here's how.

Here’s another hidden Apple affordance for you. In iOS, tap the center area (anywhere along the selected time) of the time “picker” wheels to get a keyboard where you can type a time if you prefer. “[3][1][5]” would be 3:15, and if you wanted 3:20 instead then “[3][2][0]” — there’s no backspace. If you want to type just the hours or just the minutes, then after tapping once anywhere along the selected time, tap a second time the hours or minutes number.
