What about those who don’t want to pursue something as specialized as medicine or flying airplanes? Are there jobs that pay $100K for the rest of us? Absolutely! Rachel Pelta rounded up 10 types of jobs that pay $100K a year (or more!) based on BLS data. Not all entry-level roles in these fields pay $100K right away. It may take several years before you hit that mark. And to get you on your way to $100K a year, we’ve also included virtual job simulations that will help you build the skills you need for each kind of role. Read more here 👉 👉 https://lnkd.in/gjQ226r9

So, so, important. 💭 If anyone is like me, who comes from a low-income and single-parent background - living at home (and for many people my age, nearly for free) isn’t at all an option. Every single bill and penny comes out of that salary. Thus, low salaries indirectly discriminate against those coming from these backgrounds - simply being unable to support themselves financially in the current economic pressures on that single wage with no additional forums of financial support. When wanting to diversify a workforce, it should be considered who can actually, in reality, access the starting point - diversity requires you to think outside of the box. I’m proud to have jumped social mobility hurdles over the last few years. However, not everybodies stories are the same. It’s not about graduates wanting a high salary, it’s about gradutes needing salaries which support all of the basic living costs according to the current times.
To the companies who pay grads a competitive salary of £25k or less. Was the average rent >60% of your net earnings when got your first job? No? Didn't think so. #graduates #graduatesalaries #costofliving

I disagree. Think about this: If the chart read—(combining “free time” + “liking what you do” + [emphasis] “salary”) = NET-WORTH. Imagine, you could have ACCESS to more time with family, vacations, and ‘free time’ could all equal to the other two charts. Who cares about TITLE, as long as you’re an entrepreneur! If you want this type of balance in your life, send me a DM. We will talk.
