Europe's first cryopreservation start-up, Tomorrow Bio, offers to freeze your body in liquid nitrogen, hoping future technology can revive you. Despite the $220,000 price tag (or $81,000 for brain preservation), over 650 customers have already signed up. Founded in 2020, the German company has cryopreserved six people and five pets so far, with plans to expand to the U.S. by 2025. Their process begins immediately after death, with a specialized ambulance team cooling the body to -80°C and replacing bodily fluids with cryoprotectant agents. The body is then stored long-term in a Swiss facility at - 196°C. Tomorrow Bio offers hope for life extension, with the possibility of one day reviving the preserved bodies when science allows.
