Skateboard Street Format at the Olympics The Olympic Street event is this weekend, so here's a handy guide for the format, scoring and what skaters are judged on. Skaters will have two runs of 45 seconds each, with each run having a scoring scale from 0 to 100 points. The best run is considered. The skaters then have five attempts to land their best single tricks, which are also scored from 0 to 100 points, with the two best tricks scores counted. Each skater will have their points combined from the best run and the two best single tricks. A maximum of 300 points can be achieved. Skaters are judges on: - Difficulty and variety of performed tricks - Flow or consistency of run - Quality of execution - Use of course/obstacles in a run - Repetition Who will you be rooting for? I just stumbled upon this article by Sports Illustrated in which they've given their podium predictions across all 329 events at Paris 2024: they expect India to win just 6 medals in all (1S & 5B) - do you agree?
