[LIFE AFTER BANGKIT 2023]   A few months ago, I graduated from Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka (I miss the hype, hahaha 😂), and I want to tell some stories about that.   To be honest, I accepted the offer on the last call because I doubted that I could take part in this program (and of course, what I'm really after is an internship program, not the independent study program by Kampus Merdeka). So because there hasn't been any announcement yet, I decided to take the Bangkit program to explore new things (I'm very curious about that).   Yes, as you can imagine (probably), I encountered some obstacles because I thought it was difficult at first, but it turned out to be all in good fun (I took the machine learning path for those who don't know). There is a feeling of pride and joy when successfully solving a problem. In this program, I not only learned new things, but also met new people who were very supportive and, of course, insightful.   On the last slide, you can see that I am one of the cohorts who was given the opportunity by this program to take global certification for free (Yes, it's totally free! Everything was covered by this program). Bangkit taught me to be a person who continues to adapt, continues to learn, and continues to have the courage to take on all challenges. Through Bangkit, I learned that the only barrier is myself, and only I can break through that limit. This certainly helps and shapes me to become a better me. By becoming an alumni of this program, many opportunities have been opened for me, as well as building my personal branding. Sometimes, I proudly wear a t-shirt, card holder, tumbler, and jacket that I got at the same time on campus. (I hope this can increase your motivation because the Bangkit Program has lots of merchandise, hehe). Finally, I think my decision to take the Bangkit program was a wise choice, and I will never regret it. #LifeAfterBangkit

🌟 Wrapping Up an Incredible 16-Week Internship at Ouji Seiyaku (M) Sdn. Bhd.! 🌟 As I conclude my internship at Ouji Seiyaku (M) Sdn. Bhd., I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead. These past 16 weeks have been nothing short of transformative, providing me with invaluable experiences in the fast-paced FMCG industry. 🚀 What I Did: 1. Livestreaming on Social Media: I conducted daily livestreams on TikTok and Shopee, honing my public speaking skills and learning the art of real-time customer engagement. 2. Content Planning & Creation: Collaborated with talented colleagues to brainstorm, shoot, and edit compelling video content that aligned with our brand’s vision and audience preferences. 3. Trade Marketing Support: Contributed to the design of POSM, suggested innovative ideas for roadshow activities, and managed supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. 4. Affiliate & Public Relations: Researched and secured potential affiliates for event collaborations, playing a key role in expanding the brand's network. 💡 What I Learned: - The importance of adaptability and creativity in digital marketing. - How to effectively engage with audiences through livestreams and social media content. - The intricacies of trade marketing and event planning. - The power of teamwork and collaboration in achieving shared goals. I’m incredibly thankful to the team at Ouji Seiyaku (M) Sdn. Bhd. for their mentorship and support, especially during my moments of growth and challenge. This experience has solidified my passion for marketing and prepared me for the exciting road ahead. [Life after Bangkit] It's been almost a semester since I graduated from Bangkit Academy by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka 2023 Batch 2 as a Mobile Development Cohort. It's time to do a little flashback. Learning at Bangkit Academy consists of technical skills and soft skills. In technical skills, I gained knowledge related to Mobile Development using Kotlin. The skills I have gained help me after I graduate from this program, because I now know how the process of making an application, especially an android-based application. Then what about soft skills? I gained knowledge to develop a mindset geared towards sustainable growth, effective time management, problem solving, adaptability, and strong personal branding. These skills helped me with my current internship process. Btw, now I have the opportunity to Intern at Pt. Permodalan Nasional Madani as Support Application. It's been a long time coming, but hillow hillow amazing people! It's been a remarkable journey, and I'm thrilled to share some exciting news after graduating from the illustrious Bangkit Academy 2023 Batch 1. Since my graduation, a multitude of unexpected and extraordinary events have unfolded, shaping a narrative quite different from what I initially envisioned. First and foremost, my heartfelt gratitude goes to Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka, for an unparalleled experience that has brought me to this juncture. Over the span of approximately six months, the holistic training—both scientifically and mentally—has left a lasting impact on me, with benefits that continue to manifest in my daily life. To cut a long story short, I emerged from this transformative journey with an unexpectedly high score, a testament to the payoff for all my dedicated efforts. The journey took an interesting turn post-graduation as I embarked on the pursuit of my dream career. After a month of relentless learning, I summoned the courage to delve into the job market, applying for both internship and full-time positions. While I submitted applications to various companies, only a handful progressed to the testing stage, and just one reached the interview phase. Though I meticulously prepared for the interview, fate had other plans, and I faced the disappointment of not securing the position. In need of a breather, I decided to focus on my thesis, dedicating time to gather necessary documents and craft a compelling proposal. Navigating through this process was no easy feat, but by applying the lessons learned at Bangkit, I successfully presented my thesis proposal with relative ease. But the journey didn't end there. Eager to further my experience, I set my sights on an internship program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Although faced with challenges, including being ineligible for the MSIB program due to previous participation in Kampus Merdeka twice, I persevered. Opportunities eventually emerged, and I secured positions with both the ICE Institute and an internship program. Gratefully, I am currently navigating these programs, proudly holding the title of Software Quality Insurance Intern. I am profoundly thankful for the support that brought me to this juncture, and my journey, labeled #LifeAfterBangkit, is far from over. The average tenure of an intern at growth.sg is almost 12 months. No, we're not underpaying/exploiting anyone. No, we're not on year-long uni programs. And no, we don't do fluffy "corporate culture" stuff like pong tables and fancy yacht trips (are they even still a thing?). Instead, here's what we do: Airdrop our folks into the wild battlefields, with uncomfortable positions and sometimes malfunctioning equipment. Offer highly painstaking, detailed, crunching, and grinding work (without tryouts - no "let's try this and see how") that nauseates the average folk on the street. Pack calendars and to-do lists to the brim (and it never ends!) while sparing absolutely no slack (no such thing as "oh they're tired so let's let this typo slide"). Wait, there's more! We also... Put our people at the forefront of the business, fully exposing them to our unique venture studio x digital consultancy business model, with full access to highly-present stakeholders who are all fully bought-in. Empower interns and 'adults' alike to take full responsibility + action bias of projects (ask for forgiveness, not approval) Project owners becoming so adept and spending up to 3x less effort while earning the same fee, and that means more income opportunities with us. The result? Internships extended semester after semester; freelancers choosing to work with us over larger agencies/clients. Alumni going on to work at Grab, Shopee, and Publicis Groupe. A team that keeps delivering, enabling us to drive more value to clients even on same retainer sizes. And this is why people stay on. So, if you have: an extraordinary drive to not be ordinary, love painful & dirty work, in exchange for being "a year or two ahead of your peers" (real verbatim), shoot a message. I don't bite. There's no JD. You know the rules.

🚀 Reflecting on an Incredible 5-Month Internship Journey 🚀 As my internship at Lazada Logistics comes to an end after 5 months, I find myself reflecting on an enriching and dynamic experience that has profoundly shaped my professional journey. From day one, diving into the Logistics field, I embraced a whirlwind of learning. It wasn't just about mastering technical skills like Product or Data Analytics Skills but also discovering the invaluable role of adaptability and collaboration in overcoming challenges. One of the most vivid soft skills I learned from Kahfi Rohman during this tenure is the art of negotiation. Balancing diverse strengths and weaknesses while understanding everyone's busy schedules taught me the importance of setting realistic expectations and effective negotiation. It's been an eye-opener to navigate these interactions with stakeholders. On the hard skills front, my journey into data analytics stands out as a challenging yet enriching experience. I had the chance to contribute to Billing Digitalization by handling millions of data records, which was a daunting task, especially without familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools. However, diving headfirst into this project allowed me to acquire skills in these areas swiftly. The learning curve was steep. Completing 22 essential features and achieving an 80% accuracy rate gave me recognition by the data team. It was a rewarding experience that emphasized the importance of persistence and creative thinking. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance from Kahfi Rohman and Tiara Rinandi. Your insights and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping my approach to the Product field. Special shoutout to Al Hadiid Rzeznik Ar Razy and Rayna Virdania, who have made the experience more comfortable and colorful. I've been doing my internship as a Key Opinion Leader Specialist at Lazada for about a month and a half now. I'm really thankful for all the great experiences I've had that have helped me grow, both professionally and personally. Every day, I've been learning about managing KOLs and improving my communication and decision-making skills. It's been a journey full of new challenges and opportunities to become better. During my time, I got involved in a range of tasks and projects. I teamed up with Brand Ambassadors, kept an eye on how our campaigns were going, checked out how our promotions were doing, and worked with the creative agency team. On top of that, I organized when our content would be published and managed to get things done even when we were short on time and resources. I learned a lot during this time. First off, I got a better grasp of digital marketing and branding strategies, especially when it comes to making online content and working with influencers. Secondly, I got better at analyzing data using programs like Excel, which helped me understand how people behave online. Lastly, I improved my communication and negotiation skills by talking with different people involved in our projects. Looking ahead, I've got some plans to keep getting better at my job. Firstly, I want to keep learning about digital marketing by keeping up with what's happening in the industry. I also want to work more closely with influencers and the creative team to make our campaigns even better. Plus, I want to get better at managing my time so I can get things done more efficiently.
